About

Squawk1200 turns plane spotting into a logbook worth keeping. Photograph an aircraft, note its tail number, and Squawk1200 does the rest. It looks up the registration, tells you what you're looking at, and files the sighting away as a boarding pass you can flip through later. LOG WHAT YOU SEE Snap a photo from inside the app or pick one from your library. Squawk1200 reads the location and suggests the nearest airport, so all you have to type is the tail number. KNOW WHAT YOU SAW Every registration is looked up in the public FAA registry: manufacturer, model, the year it was built, how old it is, and who operates it. A tail number you couldn't identify at the fence becomes a full record by the time you get home. YOUR SPOTTING, MAPPED AND COUNTED See every airport you've spotted at on a map. Track how many aircraft, airports, and countries you've logged, which airline you've seen most, and how long you've been at it. BUILD LISTS Group aircraft however you like — types you're chasing, liveries you love, the ones that got away. Keep a list private or share it with other spotters. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN A widget to log a spot the moment you see one, and another showing your most recent sightings at a glance. YOURS, ON YOUR TERMS Sign in with Apple, Google, or email. Post under a handle or hide it entirely and post anonymously. Delete your account, and everything personal goes with it — immediately, from inside the app. A SHARED FEED, KEPT CIVIL Squawk1200 has no tolerance for objectionable content. Report or block any spotter from the sighting itself, and reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Squawk1200 is free, has no ads, and no tracking.
