App still fails in background

App fails in my task bar now. Trying to compress a 14 gb video with default setting on h265. Backgrounding works.

Hey 🙏 this is fixed in the latest update, compression now keeps running when the app is minimized or the screen locks, even on big files like your 11gb one. Update to the newest version and it should work. Let me know if it still stops on you.

Hey 🙏 just fixed this in the latest update, compression now keeps going when you switch apps, get a call or lock the screen. Update and it should be good. Lmk if anything’s still off.

Works flawlessly

Works flawlessly. The only thing I could wish for is compress all videos and delete all with one tap.

This is fixed: I just lost metadata of hundreds of videos, please make sure to tell us that this will bring our videos front and center of the camera roll, or even better? Make it keep the metadata, thank you! I'll edit the review if you guys see this or actually go through with this, thanks again for your time and efforts!

Hey, sorry for the trouble 🙏 just shipped 1.0.7 which preserves video metadata so your compressed videos stay in order. Update and give it a try!

Doesn’t work when minimized

I have a 11 gb video and if I minimize doesn’t work compression should go on when minimized.

The video content is incorrect

I cropped the video on the photo page, but in this app, the processed video gets compressed along with the cropped parts, so the final video still has extra parts and the content isn't correct.

谢谢你的五星好评 🙏 默认设置下画质只有一点点变化,基本看不出来。想要更清晰的话,可以把 quality 调到 High 或者 resolution 保持 Original

A lifesaver for my phone storage!

If you constantly run out of space because you take too many videos, you need this app. Squeeze is ridiculously fast and shrinks my massive 4K videos down to a fraction of the size without ruining the visual quality. The interface is super clean and intuitive. It has saved me from having to delete my precious memories or pay for more cloud storage just to free up space. Highly recommend!
