About

Śrīpura — "the City of the Thousand Names" — is a complete, offline home for the Śrī Lalitā Sahasranāma, built on Bhāskararāya's Saubhāgya-Bhāskara (tr. A. K. Sastry, 1925).

What to look at in this build: 1. More, then Listening. A new section. Four conversations are listed with their lengths; choosing one opens what it covers, a player, and a way back to the list. The audio streams from sripura.app, so the first play of each needs a signal. 2. One voice at a time. Start a conversation while the recitation is playing and the recitation should stop. Start the recitation, or the paced names, while a conversation is playing and the conversation should stop. Both directions are new in this build. 3. A conversation with the phone locked, or another app in front: it should keep playing. 4. More itself, reordered. The readings now run together at the top: the Invocation, Chanting, Browse by Pattern, The Story, Listening, Bhaskararaya, Benefits, The Offering. Reminders, Learn and Bookmarks now sit below them, above Art style and Contact. 5. Anything from the earlier builds: the follow-along highlight through the whole recitation, the Name of the Day turning at 5am your own time, and "The verse it belongs to" on any name page.
