Good way to start the day
The Times is my hometown paper. Even though I have been away for many many years, I still enjoy keeping up with the local “Cloudytown” happenings. The national and world news are covered enough to either satisfy me, or expose me to what I would like to pursue further. The E edition of the Times is easier to deal with and more trouble-free than the other papers I read online.

Pretty Good epaper
The SC Times app has a true to life newspaper feel. It works well except for a few bugs in the comic section when trying to see individual comics. Otherwise it’s a great way to see the Times just like the format of the print version.
Doesn’t offer USAToday on iPad app
Even though we pay for the USA Today as part of our Times subscription cannot get that section of the paper on my App.
St. Cloud Times Print Edition
This app was updated a week ago. It now works better, no more crashing. However, the USA TODAY has been removed; disappeared. Could the developers please update this soon?
Not even well supported.
I used this app for a couple of years with all its issues. Subscription lapsed, changed it out with a different email. App would not let me sign in. Spent over an hour on the phone with their tech support team who suggested I try everything I had already tried. Then told me she would escalate and that there was a new version coming in early 2021. Still no word, not able to sign in to either this app or their website app with my logon. Can sign in to my account and bring up the news in my Safari browser. If I didn’t need access to the local news, I would cancel my subscription. Lousy IT support which I can say since my entire career has been in IT.

App, or iPad or router?
I have read The St. Cloud Times Print edition since it became available. In early 2020 we started having problems, reading the paper on the iPad. Specifically, when turning the pages, the print either does not load, or it loads and the print disappears. Usually the pictures load. Sometimes when the print disappears, we loose the connection. I have called The St. Cloud three times. The first time, the person said they would talk to the IT department, and I should try reading the paper, and if we still have problems I should call back. The second time I called back the person said he would send me a link and I should try reading the paper using that link. When I didn’t get the link, I called again, and the lady said they had no issues and it had to be on my end.? I have reset my iPad, checked my router, and router speed, all good. I have noticed that I do not have the problem on my iPhone, or on my PC. HELP! Between Apple, and The St Cloud Times they don’t a problem. The problem is only mine. Really, can’t the Times IT, give me some suggestions? Frustrated!,,

Horrible app!
I have the times digital issue only and I am seriously considering deleting my subscription as I have had way too many problems with this app. Now this morning it fails to recognize me as a subscriber. I can’t reach anyone to help me because it’s a weekend. Horrible horrible app.
Hard to read
For the las 3 days I have been unable to read the St Cloud Times E-Newspaper unless I enlarge the print size. In its default size, all the print, except for the headlines, is fuzzy. It is a problem with the app, since I have checked with other people and they are having the same problem on their iPads. What gives?

Needs work
It's nice to see the print edition. This app would be much better with two simple improvements. 1. Cache the login. Forcing users to continuously login doesn't protect against unauthorized viewing. It just annoys paying customers. 2. Address the crashes. Check crash logs and fix the issues.
