Version 1.1.2 Updated to the 7th edition S.T.A.B.L.E. Program modules. Includes new guidelines for treatment of hypoglycemia when an infant is sick, updated HIE cooling candidacy and neurologic exam checklists, a table with normal BP values in stable NICU patients, and a link to the Early-Onset-Sepsis Calculator (for use in infants who are > 34 weeks gestation). In the Cardiac Anomalies folder, Prostaglandin E1 dosing was also added.

Great educational app

This is an amazing educational app! The cardiac section is a great resource to be able to visualize the common cardiac defects. I love that I can pull up the app to discuss ECHO results with parents at the bedside. It’s a great resource to have.

Essential Tool at the bedside

This app is a must for anyone taking care of babies! All of the STABLE elements are summarized in the module headings, and the calculators are just what you need in the moment. The cardiac animations are incredible!! Seeing the normal heart beating side-by-side with the abnormal heart has been the best teaching tool I’ve ever used. Parents understand their baby’s heart problem so much easier, and the new nurses and residents learn so much faster by seeing these heart animations.

Nice app

This is a resourceful app for NICU nurses and providers. However, the cardiac images do not all load properly, especially the pages with two images. Hope they fix it soon.
