Grid Lines locked under subscription
As other reviewer has stated. It is very greedy to locked a feature like grid lines under a subscription…
Whee is the glamour beauty effects I have prime +
I don’t know where these beauty effects are. I never seen them. I clicked on where it should be. Maybe I miss it the first time but if I have to adjust it how do you get back?

Horrible app. I’ve done everything possible and it’s still not working. After paying $25. For nothing.
Other Gimbals provide without forced subscription
I am disappointed that options which come with other gimbals are charged with the smooth 5 and this app.

Utterly horrible user interface, not to mention paid features which are included in other apps for free. If I spent $250 on your gimbal, the app should be free. Entirely. I shouldn’t have to spend $80 a year to access certain features that, for example, black magic design has for free on their free app. I’m surprised this isn’t flagged as spyware.

Waste of money
Horrible gimbal the Chinese zhiyun. Gimbal dose what it wants. Locks in on walls flips to portrait mode out of no where. App is very limited, needs sign up to use light smh.
Pricy subscription
App is a bate and switch and they are not transparent up front about need for needed subscription for most features of the app. They should offer a one-time upfront purchase on the Apple Store. They don’t so deleted this app.

I like this app so long as it records locally over paid filmic pro. But if they drop that feature I will immediately rate this 1 star. Works well with zoom on iPhone and android with 5s gimbal.

Like the Zy Camy app, which for some reason is also required to use my one Zhiyun gimbal (Smoorh 5), this app is woefully incomplete.
To add insult to injury, this app, like Zy Camy, like Filmic Pro, has a subscription pricing model.
This makes zero sense. I guess anyone who is suckered into buying a Smooth 5 or 5s will have to wait for a 3rd party app with gimbal support that doesn't adopt a rip-off subscription pricing model.

Forced subscription policy
After buying the smooth 5s gimbal. I downloaded StaCam as it is the app that works with the gimbal’ features. I discovered that some of the basic functions require a pricy subscription. Sorry I don’t do subscriptions. Had I known this I would have selected a different gimbal.
No modes for 5S
This app does not give you the ability to use any of the modes on the 5S only the functionality of the zoom or focus. Nothing else works.
StaCam
It was recommended to me fo PRO results with a 5S gimbal. After reading about other features available for subscription….I’m gunna hafta pass. Even Filmic Pro went subscription base model. It appears app people are getting misinformed about this subscription stuff. NOT A FAN. Never was. Having reasonable price for GOOD upgrades is acceptable. Lookin at alternatives.

No anamorphic mode not even possible to switch format.
App seems to fix the issues with Zy Cami App which, indeed should work as advertised for the Smooth 5 gimbal, in particular for the infamous zoom/focus wheel issue. Therefore as end user of the gimbal I’m forced to use this App, in order to get the zoom/focus wheel working as desired. However, it prevents me to record in other formats, like anamorphic or even loose the chance of using the other features available in the Zy Cami app. So, what’s the goal of all this? Just continue getting end user money and never provide the complete functionality of these devices? They should be sued for forcing customers for this situation.

I understand having some features that are exclusive to your app being locked behind a paywall. But grid lines being locked behind a subscription is insane and greedy.
If it wasn’t for this, I would rate it 4 stars because of the well done histogram, and that it works with my Smooth 5 Gimbal.
But I’m not paying for grid lines. And I’m not going to use this app until they change that. I recommend Filmic Pro instead.

Having issues with audio output.
I really loved the app but I’m having problems with the audio in my recorded video from this app,the audio has hissing sound. I checked with native camera app to see weather if the problem is with my phone’s mic but it’s good.please fix this problem.

Only wide and telephoto lenses work. No ultra wide lens support.
I am a Zhiyun Prime+ subscriber (paid for 1 year).
I did login into the account on both this app and the ZY Cami app.
However, I can NOT use prime luts or prime functions (zebra, advanced, etc). These are the only reasons I subscribed and it’s not working. Very disappointed
