About
StackFocus turns your iPhone into a professional macro camera.
At two centimetres from your subject, a single photo can only hold a paper-thin sliver in focus. StackFocus fixes that the way pros do — focus stacking — except the whole pipeline runs on your phone. One tap sweeps the lens through your subject, captures up to 28 frames, aligns them pixel-by-pixel and keeps only the sharpest pixels from every frame. The result: one impossibly sharp macro photograph, exported at full sensor resolution.
HOW IT WORKS
• One tap — the lens sweeps automatically through your whole subject
• Every frame is re-aligned with dense optical flow, so handheld is fine
• Only the sharpest pixels survive the stack
• Export at true full sensor resolution (48 MP on supported iPhones)
BUILT FOR MACRO
• Macro lock — the lens never jumps mid-stack
• Live focus peaking painted over the viewfinder
• Fast / Balanced / Precise modes, metered to the scene
• Stability meter for handheld shooting
• Keep shooting while your stack processes
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account. No cloud. No analytics. No networking at all.
• Your photos never leave your phone — literally.
FREE TO TRY, ONE PRICE FOREVER
• Try the complete pipeline free — your first three exports are full-resolution and watermark-free
• One $4.99 purchase unlocks everything, forever
• No subscription. Ever.
StackFocus requires an iPhone with a macro-capable ultra-wide camera (iPhone 13 Pro or later Pro models, iPhone 16 and later).
