It may be obvious to some but I don't get why it pulls from one stack but not another. And does getting 4 matches pulled in mean more than just one?

Edit: I've just added a quick tutorial, let me know if it's helpful! I'm sorry for the confusion! A card will pull from an adjacent stack if the numbers match on both stacks and they are right next to each other. If you match multiple cards at the same time, the result will be increased by the number of extra cards you matched, so matching 4 64's will get you 512, because you're getting 64->128->256->512.
