Bad AI Made App

Everything about this app feels AI-generated with very little thought put behind it. Even the App Store screenshots look AI made to me. The whole thing comes across like it was put together by a very inexperienced developer. After trying it, this is easily one of the worst poker bankroll apps I’ve used, especially considering what they charge.

Disappointment

Feels like a money grab. The app is extremely low effort for what it charges, and in my experience it’s been overpriced and malfunctioning. Any experienced poker player would know better than to waste their money on this when there are better options available.

A solid app

Been using this for my live sessions and honestly really like it. I used to just keep track of everything in notes, but this makes it way easier to see where I’m actually winning or losing.
Really solid app for anyone who plays live poker regularly.

Better than my notes app

Everything is in one place now and the graph shows if I am running bad or playing bad. Wish it had a widget.

Easy to use

Easy to use and makes tracking my poker sessions way easier. Really like the stack tracking feature.

So Bad

I almost always leave 5 star reviews, even when an app has obvious flaws, because I’d rather support people trying to build something useful than bring them down. I’ve played poker long enough to know what actually matters in a bankroll tracker and this genuinely feels like it was made by someone who doesn’t actually play poker. The features, layout, and overall experience feel disconnected from how poker players actually track and review their results. I honestly can’t remember the last time I rated an app not 5 stars, and even so i still feel i'm being more than generous as I was originally going to go much lower.

Very dissapointing

This app feels like AI slop from top to bottom. The design looks generic and unpolished, the experience feels thrown together, and somehow it costs 2–3x more than other bankroll trackers that feel significantly better made. I genuinely can’t see anything here that justifies the price. I’m only giving it 3 stars out of pity, based on my experience the app itself deserves 1 star.

Don't waste your money

For the price, this feels extremely low effort. There are fully free bankroll trackers like Shark Poker that, in my experience, offer more functionality and look better. I don’t see anything here that justifies charging this much when better value alternatives exist.

Response from developer

Thanks for the honest write-up, it's useful even when it stings. Our onboarding is the problem here and that's on us, you hit the paywall before you ever see the product. Pro is additional, not essential. Everything you need to track your poker is free, with no session limits. We're grinders too. We're not going to stop updating this. Give it another look.

Awful

This is honestly one of the worst app experiences I’ve had. The app feels extremely low-effort and unfinished, from the overall design to the way information is presented. The statistics and displays are confusing, poorly organized, and don’t feel useful for actually tracking or analyzing sessions.

The whole experience feels more frustrating than helpful, and I would strongly advise against using it in its current state. Even the account deletion button did not work properly for me, which was another disappointing issue.

This app needs a significant amount of work on its design, usability, and reliability.

Response from developer

We re-tested account deletion after reading this and it's working on our end. Sorry it left a bad impression either way. If you hit an error we'd like to see it, so send what you saw to support@stackxo.app and we'll fix it.

Scan feature is the real deal

Tournament player here, been using it about a month. The live scan is the standout. Point it at the structure sheet and it's all in there. Ran out of free scans and just subscribed. Worth it.

Response from developer

This one made our week. We built the scan because we kept fumbling with the structure sheet at the table and typing levels in wrong. If it ever misreads one, grab a photo and send it through Settings > Feedback. We read every one of those. Rescanning is getting cleaner in the next update.

Great for tracking sessions

Track my sessions, see my real numbers. No spreadsheet. Works for both cash and tournaments.

Response from developer

That is the one thing we wanted it to do. Thanks for taking the time to write it.

Finally one I actually open

Tried a couple trackers before and always gave up on them. This one I actually keep using. Logging a session takes like two taps and the stats are right there. No clutter, no nonsense.

Response from developer

We've abandoned a few trackers ourselves, so we know exactly what you mean. Two taps was the whole bet. Every time we add something new we ask whether it makes that worse, and if it does it doesn't ship. Thanks for sticking with it.

Good for tournament players

Tracked my whole Vegas trip with this. Tournaments and cash both work great and the profit graph doesn't sugarcoat anything lol. Simple enough that I actually keep using it, which never happened with other trackers.

Response from developer

Ha, the graph not sugarcoating things was on purpose. We got tired of apps that made us feel better than our results did. Glad it survived a whole Vegas trip.
