Frosts not a color?
Hello Patrick. Long time user, first time caller.
Probably a long shot, but i was thinking the reference database is incomplete, as it doesn’t contain any diffusion info. Obviously it won’t use a color reference, but simply having the company item #s available, as well as any light lost, as stops, would make for a more complete and more useful pocket reference.

Limited search functionality
I want to be able to search a color when the Lee tab is selected and have Lee gel pop up. Doesn’t happen. I would encourage the developer to include Lee gels into searches.

I'm so thankful for this. Great for search terms and inspiring ideas. Have this handy when creating a lightning plot with conventional lights!
Not quite what it shows
The app does what it says, and it has a full data base. The samples on view three appear as only half, cut off the bottom. The fourth screen shot, which is the full colour, which could be handy, doesn't seem to exist. Maybe I doing something wrong, but I tried touching everything. Still, it is a great price as a reference tool!

Technical Theater Assist.
Being my 3rd year as a theater technician and having three backpacks for different jobs, be it lights, sound, or scenic equipment specific, getting a gel book out isn't always easy or safe, depending on your location. This app does give a general color tone that surprisingly matches 80/20, 80% correct and 20% that's close or not right at all. Offering the top industry gel manufacturers is a great feature to compare gels, though they vary less than 2-5% in hue mostly. For free it's a good reference to get a general idea, though I wouldn't bet my reputation on it, I still pack in 2-3 gel books into every one of my bags.

Loved this app but stopped working, even reinstalled it

Looks like the company doesn't care to fix this. It's been months since it has had the crash issue. Still no fix.
Needs an update
Hey thanks for such a wonderful tech program for choosing and figuring out similar colours in other company's data. But it doesn't work for the newest IOS update

Doesn't work!!
So just tried this on my 5s. Crashes every time. Tried it on the 4s. Same thing. Restarted both iPhones reinstalled them on both. It launches then crashes.

Previous versions have worked. The current version crashes, every time.
Crashes as opens
I have a 5s with the newest software and the app crashes 2 seconds after it opens. Please Fix!!😐

The app opens and closes immediately after the new update. I have an iPhone 5S with the latest iOS update as well. Please fix this problem.

Awesome for students
Really great app for trying to find the right gel number/name. Would love to have a feature where you could save/fav a gel you use often and maybe label it as to what it's used for like red wash, catwalk cool, etc. Great for my students to have on hand with them. Love it.
5 Stars For What it Is
An incredibly beautiful app with a good amount of gels to search through. This is why I believe the current version is a 5 star app. However I wish a few things were added/changed, such as:
1) Either change the name or add more general lighting design/master electrician tools. It currently is not a "stagehand" as much as a swatch book - but this is okay if it is labeled as such.
2) Add more gels! What you have is currently fine, but could certainly be greatly expanded!
Overall, an informative and helpful app that I wish I had found sooner!
