About
This alarm app requires users to prove they've woken up by taking a live photo of a designated object. Failure to provide proof results in losing virtual currency, while success returns it and earns experience points.

FAQ
Does StakeUp have ads?
StakeUp does not contain advertisements. The app is free to download and use, with optional in-app purchases for additional virtual currency.
How does StakeUp work?
You set an alarm, choose a proof location (like a bathroom sink), and put virtual Stakes at risk. At wake-up time, you must take a live photo of the location within five minutes to keep your Stakes. Failure burns them.
What are Stakes in StakeUp?
Stakes are virtual in-app currency with no real-world cash value. They are used as a commitment to prove you've woken up. Successful proof returns your Stakes, while failure burns them.
Can I buy Stakes in StakeUp?
Yes, you can purchase consumable Stake packs through Apple if you run low. These purchases do not affect your XP, wins, streak, level, or leaderboard position.
What happens if I miss the photo proof deadline in StakeUp?
If you fail to provide valid photo proof before the deadline, the Stakes you reserved for that commitment will be burned. This applies even if you dismiss the alarm or delete the app.
What devices does StakeUp support?
StakeUp requires an iPhone running iOS 16.4 or later. It uses AlarmKit on iOS 26 or later for system alarms.
How do I cancel my StakeUp Pro subscription?
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel your StakeUp Pro subscription in your Apple subscription settings to prevent future charges.
What is the age rating for StakeUp?
StakeUp has an age rating of 4+, making it suitable for a wide range of users. The app focuses on productivity and habit formation.
