Interesting but needs more time in the oven

It’s fun to gamify the travel experience, but this app is clearly missing a lot of features for the seasoned traveler. This seems like it would work if you’ve been to a few places (and is very America-centric, prioritizing travel to states)

It also uses some controversial boarders, like recognizing Russian claims in Ukraine, Indian claims in Pakistan, and Moroccan claims in Western Sahara. It also doesn’t recognize Kosovo, but include the boarders of it on the map.

The score system is fun, but again, half baked. For whatever reason you need to invite your friends to get any sort of “social” score.

If you plan on traveling to one or two countries for the first time, this app can be fun for that trip. But if you’ve already done decades of travel, then this is just more of a gimmick.

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback. You're right about the disputed territories. We use Natural Earth map data which shows borders as they are in practice, not as they're legally recognized, and that's something we're fixing. The next update will have Crimea with Ukraine, Kosovo as its own country, and a few others corrected. Fair point on the social score too. You should be able to rack up points on your own without needing friends, we'll look at that. Stamp'd is pretty new and I'm a solo dev, so reviews like this help me figure out what to work on next. Appreciate you giving it a shot and hope you will come back and try us again.
