'Stan Swasthya' (Sanskrit. Breast Health) is a mobile application aimed to create awareness regarding the risk factors, signs and symptoms, preventive measures, stages of the disease, diagnosis and treatment of Breast Cancer. It underscores the importance of Self Breast Examination - an easy and simple practice to be carried on a monthly basis to stay abreast with Breast Cancer. 'Stan Swasthya' has an audiovisual tutorial for Self Breast Examination, making it feasible for its users to perform guided Self Breast Examination. In order to ensure monthly practice of Self Breast Examination of it's users, 'Stan Swasthya' has a useful feature of 'monthly reminder'. The app can be used in the following languages - English, Hindi and Marathi. Team 'Stan Swasthya' is highly concerned about the privacy and confidentiality of the users of the app, and the developers do not collect any of the user's personal data or data related to usage of the app. Stan Swasthya' is intended for use by individuals of the age of 18 years and above, in order to stay cognisant about Breast Cancer; and has no potential risks associated with the use of the app. Once downloaded, the app doesn't require an active internet connection for its functionality. Team 'Stan Swasthya' doesn't monetise the app, and is motivated to spread Breast Cancer awareness across individuals of all strata and communities.
