I just have to say we have been SS users and fans for years and we will never do Disney without it. If you are on the fence about purchasing it dont be. It is worth every penny and got us everything we wanted and more. My kids at some point told me to stop setting searches because it would get us everything and so fast lol. We love you Skipper and thank you for being the best and for always making our trips more magical and stress free 💙🤗🛥️

Super Helpful May 2026
I used this app in 2023 and it was super helpful. I loved it! With the new lightning lane system, it was really hard to get good lightning lanes the days we were in the parks. Instead would spend 30 minutes refreshing the app hoping for lightning lanes to become available. I never had success. Two days into our trip, I decided to try using this app again. I would choose what lightning lanes I wanted and would sit back and hang with my family and wait to see if the app would get me some lightning lanes. And it worked so well!! Relieved so much stress! Super highly recommend this app for people still learning the lightning lane system at Disney world.

Quickly became a favorite for our trip
This service is amazing! We were Disney newbies so I wasn’t well versed in lightning lanes, this made it easy and efficient to use all the available lightning lanes and automatically booked for you! Would definitely use again, the price is great for a larger group and allows you to really be present vs refreshing the app constantly looking for another ride. Tip from someone’s first time: if you don’t like the time it matches you with just delete it and set another alert, chances are a better slot will open up

Didn’t work
Tried using Standby Skipper for our Disney trip after hearing all the hype and honestly ended up pretty disappointed. The app felt clunky and confusing at times, especially when trying to manage multiple people and modify plans throughout the day. Recommendations didn’t always make sense based on where we were in the park, and some of the timing suggestions actually had us walking back and forth more than necessary.
The biggest issue was reliability. A couple of times the app seemed delayed compared to what was actually available in the Disney app, which is kind of the whole point of using a planner like this in the first place. For the price, I expected something smoother and more polished.
It’s not terrible, but it definitely didn’t feel like the “stress free Disney experience” people talk about.

Day changing
Used Standby Skipper in June 2025 and the experience was excellent. When Rock-in Rollercoaster went down Standby Skipper grabbed a Slinky Dog for us before we even got the alert from Disney that they had cancelled our RR lighting lane. Over the week they booked all the Lightning Lanes We asked for when we asked for them. It was so nice to just enjoy my family and not worry about the phone. And it is so much fun to be surprised by their notifications. I never had to charge my phone during a park day. I’ll be using them again this summer!

If you want help on your Disney trip booking all the rides, this is the app to have. Have used it for 3 years and it never lets us down. This spring break was super busy and the Skipper still came through!!!
Brilliant App
So pleased I came across this app recommended by Budget Mouse Mums guide book, before our trip to Orlando during the Easter Break. I was so worried about queue times but this helped out so much. It is so worth the money and I even got a coupon code on Budgetmouse mum website

Needs work for special lightning passes
App was great generally but it did not handle some rare lightning lane credits we got. We waited 90 minutes for Rise at Hollywood Studios, then got a special lightning lane and this app immediately used it for Little Mermaid (not a good use of this), and then we went to Runaway Railway and the same thing happened, and Skipper used it on Frozen that we were able to just walk into anyways.
Seems there must be some special metadata somewhere to call out these special available lightning lanes that this app is ignoring maybe?

2 years of park freedom and counting
I was a little sceptical in year one but it was fantastic. I’m using it again on my current vacation and it’s making a crazy spring break, a breeze. Trust the process, don’t be a slave to your phone. Aye aye skipper, I’ll be back in 2027
Great way to burn $25
Found the app non-intuitive and very little instructions on how it operates. In any event, it failed to secure me a single fast pass all day. Total waste of money

Phenomenal Time Saver
Disney has continuously made it more difficult to enjoy a hassle free day in the parks, at least for the person in charge of planning. Standby Skipper was a life saver for me! Our party of 8 was so happy with the lightning lanes Standby Skipper secured for us. We are not rope droppers, we prefer a later start and the app was absolutely indispensable.

Game Changer
We have used this app now for our last 3 trips to Disney and now I would not go without it. With Standby Skipper you can input what you want to ride throughout the day and drastically reduce time spent on your phone! It was able to book sold out and hard to get rides every single day of our trip, all without me having to refresh the Disney app and constantly check my phone. Love this app so much!

A life saver!
I recently used SS on a Disney trip and I will never do a Disney trip without it!! I barely had to look at my phone and skipper did all the work. The only thing I had to do was tell it preferences and look what it booked!! Love it!!
A must need
This is a must for your disney vacation. It was amazing not having to instantly search for a new LL after tapping into a ride. It took the work out of my hands and it was easy to adjust if what it selected didn’t work timing wise. On two occasions it got me LL for rides we didn’t think we would be able to do!

Can’t do Disney without it!
Thank you so much for your amazing app! Skipper booked me so many rides including slinky twice, Toy Story mania, all were unavailable to start the day… I completely forgot I had it running because I didn’t have to be on my phone stressing about the next ride. I can’t Disney without you 🙏🏽
