Fantastic adaptation
Great adaption of the original. Agree with other comments about better game control. I would love to see this game work with an external game controller. It looks like the developer has moved onto work for Amazon so I’m not sure if he’s still updating these games. I hope he keeps at it and comes up with a few more.

Star Castle was my game when I was a kid! They nailed it with this one! So happy I found it!
Could have been fun
Controls are very tough. The ship turns too fast. It might be better to have the ship circle on an orbit and have the turret always face the target.

I love retro-styled vector games on iPhone. This one was one of the first, based on a truly classic arcade game, and the inspiration for Yars' Revenge. Awesome.

I have loved this game for 38 years. This is a great recreation. One request: please add keyboard control. This game plays well on the iPad, but needs a keyboard for fine control.
Great game but was better
Great app. I loved the arcade game it’s based on. I’ve been playing this for several years on my phone, But I am disappointed with the recent update. Wish I hadn’t updated. New version scales down the Fortress and the fighter ship. This gives more space but on small devices the size of fighter and fortress seem too small, also the controls are now more sensitive in a negative way.

Can you make the buttons taller? They're too small on an iPhone and too easy to miss at critical moments .. I want to see thd new staf lord tricks but can't get far enough without the small controls foiling me...

I'm so old I remember this game! I used to play this at the roller rink every wknd. Great job on graphics and added touches. Well worth the 99 cents Don't tell my wife!! Lol

Very Cool
Star Castle was one of the very first arcade games I played as a kid back in 1981, 1982. The only place I ever found it was tucked away in a small arcade room in the back of the local Sears store diner. Anyone else remember those diners? Hilarious!
Love this game. Recent update, not so much.
Loved this game as a kid. Sucked at it too. Love the old graphics. But, with the recent update, the game won't end! I'm up to 350 million, and the game will not end. I've been committing suicide, and the game won't end!! It's ridiculous.
