Amusing but opaque and glitchy
This is amusing if you're a trekkie. It's fun to fight with characters from all the shows. However, it's very grindy and repetitive, with the saving grace being 4x speed and an auto combat mode. I doubt I'll stay interested for long. Stats are too opaque, plus I've lost both gear upgrades and mats for unclear reasons. I can't even tell whether I did something wrong or encountered a bug. Survival mode sucks because the characters are random, not ones I want to work on. It takes a long time to get to the opportunity to reset too. PvP seems to be battles against another player's team run with AI, not a lobby with actual PvP. The game is included with Arcade so there's nothing to lose playing for a while, but don't expect anything too engaging.

Nostalgia
This game contains many objects from episodes that no longer exist. The Croft background from mid 70’s cartoons is a good one for us old trekkies. The Caliban sitting there. Those Klingon long barrel pistols were retired around the time the bloopers aired. The Russian base was seen on 60 minutes also in 1974, I believe, paristroika. The jungle was burned on TV, shots shown in other content that wasn’t Star Trek like National Geographic. Those shots of those farms were also probably in Russia, those silos were also on 60 minutes. Nice nostalgia.

The Star Trek game fans deserved. It’s amazing!
I recommend this to anybody who’s never played it. I loved how the game was made a true love letter to Star Trek fans. I beg of you though to either add new characters and storyline or make a sequel or something. I’ve beaten the game and it’s amazing! You guys just did a spectacular job and I can’t thank you enough. That’s why I want more, because you guys totally rocked at making this game. Me personally there’s like five game that made up a period of IOS gaming a couple of years back and this definitely was one of them. Again I can’t thank you enough, for the memories, for the entertainment, and for creating in my opinion probably the best IOS RPG ever.
Also ignore what the haters say ok! Don’t let ‘em’ get you down. Even if you don’t make more content or a sequel, you made a great game and that’s what matters.

Fun but buggy and needs QoL updates
The game is fun, lots of characters and things to do.
The bugs however hurt the experience with things like frequent visual glitches and not being able to upgrade characters unless I restart the game.
A lot of QoL is needed too, UI buttons in weird spots, scrolling through character selection can accidentally put them in the party or switch apps, trying to select characters during combat is awkward and can result in incorrect targeting.

Won’t let me start with a full team
So I’m on the Gorn Morituri Te Saluting, and the game won’t let me load 4 characters. And I cannot start without 4 characters. It cannot be both ways dumb game.

Needs an in-mission revive system.
I actually really love this game. Put a lot of hours into it. But man, can you guys please add an in-mission revive system. I hate that when someone goes down after the entire enemy Borg party hits just one charter and they are out for the rest of the mission. Maybe have it where I can sacrifice some resource or something to bring them back. Or beam in a new character. There are so many clever ways to make it happen and make it make sense. You add this, and I bet people will be more forgiving if the game isn’t perfect technically. Please make this happen.

What a joke pvp is. I won’t even explain it. Play the game and you’ll understand.
Can’t Play
I enjoy the game. It’s a fun game when I can get it to open. Usually I have to open it two or three times before it will load. Today I’ve tried over six times and it still won’t load. I enjoy the game but if I can’t play it then I’m not going to.
Best game on Apple Arcade in 2025
Finally found a quality mobile game without micro transactions. This is the first Apple Arcade game that I can see playing long term. It doesn’t get updates anymore and has a couple minor bugs that are easily overcome by restarting the game. I’ll take it as is without micro transactions any day of the week. Love it!

Buggy
Its fun, sort of like a marvel strike force copy, and it has a lot of potential via apple arcade. This one bug where gear upgrades dont reflect on a character’s stats unless you restart the app is truly annoying. Also, when you have someone on a shuttle mission but they are pre selected in your 4 person team on other activities, the game doesnt let you deselect them to choose a different character, rendering the activity pointless to initiate with a roster of less than 4. Seems like these should have been polished by now, but the last update was 4y ago which feels like the game was abandoned. Recently saw it on steam so not sure why the devs have ignored the iOS version.

Freezes at 50% loading. I do not recommend it.
Want to like it but…….
Started playing, liked it. Great for casual dip in and out. Good story and if you are a Trekkie then it’s neat to see the characters etc. problem is like others have reviewed - at some point it freezes and doesn’t respond to screen touches. Deleted and reinstalled etc same problem. So it loads but can’t play it. Hence the low score.
