My go-to turn-based strategy game
This is the game I play more than any other game.
My only complaint: to get on the leaderboard's, you have to link up with Facebook. I don't use Facebook. I don't want to use Facebook. I wish they would open up a leader boards for everybody.
Otherwise, a near flawless game.

Fun, but buggy and grindy
First off, this is a great game. A wonderful mix of RPG/strategy with a whole load of humour, Sci-Fi and upgrading. With numerous character classes and upgrade tress. Right up my alley. Apart from the short playtime, it’s perfect as a base game if you disregard the bugs. However, there are a number of general things that need to be addressed:
1) I’ve had numerous occasions where the game has bugged out when I’m trying to move forward and I have to close the game entirely and restart it, as I can’t take any actions. For instance, I’ve done Halls of Valhalla Rank 16 four times in a row now and it’s bugged each time after 20 mins on the level on the advancement.
2) Fuel needs to be more plentiful, or the hat costs reduced. There’s no chance of getting high level hats without hours and hours of grinding. I mean houuuuuurs. This means that I have to farm for hours at the moment doing the same level and I can’t progress any further in the main game (on NG+). This is pretty much my main concern with the game.
3) The cooldown for new characters in the tavern needs to be reduced. I’ve been playing for days and I still don’t have the optimal party I want (due to lacking the unique traits I want).
4) The gold cap needs to be increased. First of all, I spent the entire game at max gold, and second, the final max gold cap is a joke. Or at least give us something decent to actually spend gold on, like fuel. My backpack is always full and between the cap for items and money that’s so much wastage.

Worth it
You get several hero's. Maps take about 5/10 min to complete. And the game is long enough to justify the price. Buy and enjoy!

Clever little game.
Hey devs,am I missing something,I'm pitted against four snails,each with three health points.i start with three health points but when I get hit I lose two of them.totaly one sided game that got silly quickly, can I get a refund !!! Restarted game as you suggested,no different. Hey sorry guys.realy got into this game,leant a few tricks and now can't stop playing it. Giving you five stars. Sorry guys,but on second playthru game goes thru motions but will not move vikings or fire weapons.it also takes your power ups but does not apply them.please fix.

I had a blast playing this. Easily 12 hours plus of fun. Exactly what ios games should be.
Simple, fun strategy game that ramps up, with one major bug
First, fun and simple strategy game with a good sense of humour and good variety of increasingly challenging foes. Some of the challenges are pretty rough, but you don't have to complete all locations. The after end game is pretty tough since you've long since max levelled up.
Now the bug. It took me a bit to figure out what the problem was. If you try to exit the field while another character is in an animation, like attacking, it completely break the controls. You won't be able to move or do anything with the other players. This is a major issue when you have more than 2 players later in the game because you'll want to move them all off the board. If you accidentally miss a dark/black enemy on a dark field when exiting characters you'll end up breaking controls and having to restart the level. This really sucks in later levels when it's tough and restarting is a frustrating experience. Thanks.

This game is awesome. The only thing more addictive than the gameplay is that theme song!
Needs a fix and it'll be the game of the month.
It's an amazingly thought out game. Fun, creative and challenging. Just please optimize it. It's laggy on my iPhone.

Love the humorous atmosphere,
The puzzle/rpg stages where you need to think a couple steps ahead and carefully plan where/when/how you drag your Characters,
The colours brings lots of life, so bright and beautiful.
It is nice.

If we could respect our characters that would be nice.

The controls are horrible. I had to exit and reload every arena. My character would not move no matter how I swipe it.

Couldn't put it down for several days. There is just something about getting those extended combos that was utterly satisfying!

Great fun and a good challenge!
I don't normally go for cartoon style graphics, but this is a great little strategy game and ramps up in difficulty quite nicely.
The graphics however seems a little blurry on the iPad in comparison to iPhone and there unfortunately isn't iCloud sync or GameCenter leaderboards, but these are small gripes. [See updated review below]

Hey, actually there totally is GameCenter leaderboards! Go to Snail Planet, and there's this green tower called "Trials of Valhalla". Competing there will raise your score :) iCloud sync - noted, and we're looking into it!
Fun but looks awful on iPad
It needs some serious optimizations for the iPad.
