In app purchase didn’t work, refused to give refund
My son, Moffball15, tried to buy gems. It didn’t work the first time so we tried 2 more times, and we didn’t think the purchase went through. I emailed TOPPS and they said to try a few things them purchase again. We tried what they suggested. It still didn’t work. I sent Fred at TOPPS an email with a screenshot of the error message. Fred said I need to click the “info” button so we tried AGAIN. Still didn’t work and he said basically he was sorry. Turns out it DID charge 5 times but we didn’t receive any purchase! And they won’t refund my money because apparently they “can’t.” They can take money from me, but can’t give it back even when I’ve been emailing them with proof for a week. Appealing with Apple now and then going to my bank. Ridiculous. Don’t get this game if you dont want your money taken.

Needs Quality of Life improvements
Can we please get additional “bulk buy” options for sets, especially the Base Packs bundles? Having a 10x buy or a 100x buy option for credit (non-crystal) purchases would be great and prevent me from having to click the “1000 credit” purchase THOUSANDS of times! Additionally new UI is terrible. Now takes twice as much time to do something. Organization is awful. Clearly designed by someone who does not actually use the app.

New version is bad
I've been a user since week one 2015. This most recent update is the most over-complicated and confusing user interface I have ever seen.
What should be a very simple and basic application has been transformed into a bloated rubix cube of user experience.
Constant errors and crashes make the app experience WORSE.
I just don't understand why they decided to "fix" what was never broken. So sad.

Annoying
I will be deleting after years of having this app, the sets sell out like its Black Friday??? Theres no point in buying a pack when every card but one or two is sold out what are they gate keeping for? The same sets stay out for weeks at a time but sell out within a few days its honestly just annoying. I probably checked 8 different sets and all were sold out so at that point im wasting currency to purchase base cards, thats so fun.

Glitches
Work bench and pack openings are super glitchy. Logs out account constantly due to inactivity although I open it all day everyday.
June 7 2026. Crashes a lot last couple of weeks.
1. The app crashes; a lot.
2. There is still no way to purchase a bulk amount of a set; just one at a time when at times a trader may need to open thousands to complete just the Uncommon variant. Workbench. And odds still perform to stated odds less than 50% of the time.
3. If a trader wishes to use gold credits to open packs but the initial clicking on the gold credit pack fails, then it is possible for a trader to accidentally open packs using purple crystals (which is a mistake no trader wishes for). I wrote Topps two years ago when they first started placing the continue button over the purple purchase button (originally only present on one set) Instead of removing the potential for the mishap, they replaced ALL sets with the same potential. If users complain about accidentally purchasing packs with crystals or money rather than gold credits, Topps is aware of the potential and is, in my opinion, banking off of it.
4. They have placed a paywall in order to trade for new players.
5. Events: (COTM) and (Maul Episode) more specifically are two of the most recent event offerings: The former creates odds in which a player can NOT complete a rare set within the timeframe of the event without either buying packs or using multiple accounts. There are 3 main pack opening stages in which a player opens 20, 20, 30 packs with the odds of drawing a rare card at 1:30, 1:30, 1:20 respectively. The event is 72 hours and a player can complete 3 cycles within that time if they play around the clock. Impossible odds for an event that used to almost always guarantee a player s rare set in past years (9 Rares is a complete set)
The latter (Maul) offers a unique rare Event set of 5 purple cards. A player can only receive one of these rare cards by completing the event, opening the reward pack and perhaps receiving one of these purple cards as a reward. The current episode event is 2 weeks long and a player can complete 2-3 cycles per day. On average my wife and myself have completed the cycle twice per day on separate accounts for the past 13 days. We have accumulated 3 purple rare event cards between us. Impossible odds.
6. Customer service is a bot which seems to be designed to keep one in a constant loop of nothingness.
What’s good
1. The sets are more beautiful across the board.
2. Base cards tiers 1-5 are more evenly balanced with regards to the amount of desirable and main characters in comparison to non main characters.
3. Daily sets, while not always performing to stated odds, are rather easy to complete (Rare, And Uncommon)

No Help From Support
I would give zero stars if I could solely based on their "tech support". I emailed support several times to reset my password to get back into my game and I have gotten no response back. If no one is going to reply back with help, they need to have it where you can reset your own password.

Constantly crashing
The recent update causes all of the Topps apps to constantly crash. This went from a 5 star app to a 1 star app.
New update ruined the fun
With the newer big update that happened about, ehhh 4 or 5 months ago, it ruined the fun and experience of the game. Everything moved around it’s a pain to navigate through compared to the previous UI and layout. Another thing is when I try to close the app, it freezes my entire phone for 10 seconds and then my phone shuts off. They took everything we loved and made it 10x more difficult to get to missions, buying packs for the events etc. and it feels like a chore when I open the app to collect my daily and weekly missions. It’s just not as fun anymore.

Trading is Paywalled
I loved that I didn’t have to spend any money if I didn’t want to and enjoyed trading with others and building my collection. Now I can’t even trade with other users unless I pay a fee every 6 months. The app is useless to me now. Look at the recent reviews and listen to your users.

Multiple Collections
I’m new to this app and I’m enjoying collecting digital cards. But is there anyway to put the physical cards I own into the app? If not I think that would be a great way to bridge both forms of collecting. I can also keep a digital list of what cards I have in my possession that way.
Cool app
I like this app a lot but right now i am trying to get some packs but I have to wait so much for credits like I only get 4 missions a day and that barely gets anything and I have to wait 2 hours for more credits. But the upsides are it’s a fun collecting game with trading new sets daily and free rewards I highly recommend to Star Wars fans. But like I said too much waiting. And the rates are off I opened over 50 action figure packs the odds are 1 in 15 for a rare and ended up with 15 uncommons and no rares Also plz add more action figure cards

April 26 2026 Trade portal issue fixed. New Flat Files set not performing close to stated odds.
The new Flat files set is performing terribly with regards to stated drop odds.

We’ve opened 90 packs: 2 rare cards so far. This is a common issue with regards to this card trading app. Topps can not guarantee drop rates while sets continue to not yield Rarities of cards as stated in the respective sets article. 1:5 Uncommon UC will drop at 1:8; 1:3 UC will drop at 1:5 with the discrepancies increasing exponentially at the higher Rarities.
the Meld section needs a lot of work. It’s too cluttered and when a trader sets it to only the sets they wish to trade, the section resets back to default after the meld recreating the original clutter. Thank you

New build is unplayable
App has been a lot of fun since 2015 but they changed the build in December 2025 and completely ruined it.
Freezes and crashes constantly and the UI makes it a frustrating experience to use.

Bugs and Freezes Galore
Ever since the newest update I can’t do anything without the app freezing and having to restart it. It’s bad when the central part of your app, the trading part in your name, freezes almost everytime you go into it. Restrting the app isn’t always a fix either. This is a card trader app you can’t reliably trade on.
