It stopped working
The app just stopped working after I logged in once. As soon as I click on the app, a black screen appears then it closes out
Love this App!
This app has a lot of functionality and cool content. I love that I can post pics, videos, text and gifs and comment all those things as well. It’s a great virtual place to share thoughts, memes, products and music. I look forward to what’s in store for StarPages! So far I love it ♥️
Hmmmm
So far I’ll have to give it a one star, it took long to create an account then it froze when I tried to log in for the first time. After 3 minutes the app crashed and now it won’t even open. I was really excited about it too 😥
Needs work
Its good to see that theres a new black owned social media platform climbing the ladder, but the mobile app is trash and needs a lot of work. Slow and unresponsive doesnt get it done. Ill re download in the future when its had some improvements in quality and UI

My 16 yr old daughter began using this app a few mths ago and was excited! She is a singer and posted some videos and interacted with posts and people on the app. This app was touted as a place for people (particularly African-Americans) to come together and uplift each other.
This morning she saw a post from someone talking about Black people that date or marry white people and how wrong it is. A number of people commented on how Black people that date/marry outside their race hate themselves and don’t want to be Black.
My daughter is bi-racial. I am Black and her father is White. We have been married for 20 yrs and raise our children to now their culture and love themselves.
When my daughter responded to the post multiple grown Black men belittled her.
This is disgusting. We are fighting for equality and yet you treat your “family” like this!

Has Great Potential
Coming from Instagram to a new app is a bit confusing, other social media platforms had to start somewhere also . Can’t wait to see the app grow 🖤

Has Potential
I’m no app developer so I’m not sure of all the Knick knacks that is used to create an app. It’s no IG, Facebook, Twitter, or Snapchat, but it has potential. If a team of engineered specialist were to help this app with its features, StarPages would definitely take off. All social media platforms started somewhere and I think this one is headed in the right direction. As of rn seems more like a blog if anything.

I love it, I just wish it was more aesthetically pleasing and a little easier to work.
Confusing but has great potential
I’m 18 .. the layout of the app overall was a tad bit confusing with the stars and the fans, and trying to discover more people and content. To my understanding(I may be wrong) there’s no way you can really like posts so I’m not sure how I’d be able to find new things that interests me. For example, let’s say there’s a post about hair and is like to see more of that on my feed .. how will I do that if I can’t like it? Also, I don’t know what those arrows on the side are for ... it’s just confusing .. I saw some profiles of older people and they seemed to have gotten it down 😂 but I don’t know. Maybe u could have the little tutorial thing like other apps have when you first download it. I LOVE the idea though !

Difficulty updating profile
I’m 19 years old and I love supporting black businesses but the app needs work. I’ve already installed in & set up my profile but I’m unable to upload my profile picture. The app’s interface is a little rough around the edges but I feel like this could be a huge hit. It just needs some work.
Great app has potential need interface improvements (aesthetic wise)
I love supporting black business and black owned apps I feel like this can be the next big thing. For many years we have relied on resources from other races who in turn don’t do anything to support or benefit the black community. If we all chimes in this could be the next big think and we would have to go to apps like tik tok that don’t support us. However the interface needs improvement, for the app to gain attention it needs to be geared towards young adults and teenagers. This app looks like it’s on a browser tab which makes it tricky. Also I don’t like how there’s no feature to hide your city and zip code I DONT NEED THST PUBLICIZED, it should be an option and not mandatory. Also the part for creating new posts should be on the home screen not account screen. Overall good app, download it, this will be the next Facebook. Everything starts from somewhere💗💗💗

Seems like a dope app but....
Trying get a feel of the app but it keeps crashing!!!!
I love the concept!
This is a great app, and this could be a a way better app if the design was a little better (UI/ UX wise) and a little bigger with the font. It sorta feels like I’m on tumbler on a browser instead of the actual app.
All in all, this is really a great app and I’m glad to support it!

Review of StarPages
Overall I think this app has the potential to blow up. The question is which generation is going to utilize it because it seems to drawl in more 30-40 year olds rather then 18-24 year olds (granted I’ve been playing around with it for alittle while).
It was rather buggy and was alittle hard to update my account (especially with bio and photos because it would say uploaded but it didn’t for a while) *of course this site is rather new. I hope the updates to this app works on polishing these bugs. Nevertheless, I think this app is unique and if the admin works on making the apps operations smoother, it will make it easier to attract more people. I will make more thorough reviews after a few days of using it but I don’t intend on deleting it.
