Too bad how this paper got ruined. It’s just full of left wing NDP complaining about something every day. We unsubscribed as it was a waste of money to daily read about left wing, anti government rhetoric. I couldn’t imagine any company wanting their company ad to be seen in relation to this ‘newspaper’.

The new updated app is worse than the old app
This new app is a mess and is missing stuff like the obituaries

The most recent update makes this app more complicated to navigate than the simpler looking previous version. While this update provides access to other sources of news within this media group, it’s absolutely more effort to use. The elimination of dark mode viewing is also a MAJOR disappointment…. Will seek out other sources for my local news needs moving forward.

App does not recognize account updates
My account was out of date so subscription was not renewed. I made phone called to correct this and renew my subscription. That lasted about 10 days App still does not recognize my renewed subscription and directs me to iTunes ignoring my subscription payment. Customers deserve better. I can get access from the website at least today but not the app!

Its been two years and its still freezes up
And I can never forward an article. Same problem with their sister apps in Calgary & Ottawa. And good luck ever reading anything on here without a heavy liberal bias. What happened to presenting both sides of an issue and letting the reader decide?
Very poor
This app constantly freezes, won’t update, or load story data. I’ve deleted and re-installed this app several times, tried powering down/up my phone and nothing seems to help.

This app seems to be deteriorating with no opportunity to update. Article pages are slow to appear, and lately, pages are double loading, with inhibited scrolling/freezing. Needs a re-visit.

The images for the article do not match with what is happening in the article. I thought they would solve the issue but it has been over a year and still not fixed.

This app is brutal..... the pictures that show up when you click on an article are always wrong. Half the time the article doesn’t even show up, get with the times star phoenix.....

Used this app for years. Just now read the reviews and that’s exactly what’s happening. Blank white pages. Freezes and shuts down my phone. Not sure why but it’d be nice to fix it.
Major issues
After update attempting to go to any story gives a blank screen and the phone crashes. Happens on every phone that I can test it on. Do not install this app you will not be happy.

New update problems
Since new update app crashes my iPad, too bad as worked great before this. Don’t use anymore.
