Ich liebe diese App, viel besser als die Standard-Kontakte App. Besonders gefallen mir die Aktionsbuttons. Die Optik ist top. Besonders am iPad super! Fehlt nur noch die Mac App…

The developer appears to give little attention to user feedback and reported issues. Many long-standing problems remain unresolved, while the app itself does not offer meaningful advantages over Apple’s built-in Contacts app.
Features advertised as additional or enhanced either do not work properly or are implemented in a way that makes them impractical. A good example is the “quick call” functionality. When attempting to add or use a call via a messenger such as Telegram, the process becomes unnecessarily complicated. Telegram allows calling users via username without a phone number, but this app does not support that workflow. If a Telegram contact does not have a phone number, calling them through this app is not possible.
Even when a phone number is added, the so-called “quick” call button requires multiple extra steps through various menus. This defeats the purpose of a quick action. In practice, it is faster and simpler to use Apple’s default Contacts app to make a call.
Overall usability is poor, and the interface feels inconvenient and inefficient. Instead of focusing on fixing core functionality and long-reported issues, the developer seems to prioritize adding paid features that provide little value.
Additionally, push notifications sent by the app often lead nowhere when tapped, leaving it unclear what the notification was about in the first place.
Because of these issues, the app is difficult to recommend and does not justify replacing the standard Contacts app.

Simple and exactly what I needed
I’ve been looking for a CRM for just friends and family (and the occasional acquaintance), and Starrise has been great so far. It’s lightweight, easy to use, perfect for quick jot-downs and birthday reminders, and feels like a natural extension of my contacts without the sales-style clutter.
Simple and effective
I really like this app and use it as a replacement for my Apple contacts app. A few things that really make it useful for me:
1. The ability to sort contacts by creation date
2. Adding your notes about people (the CRM aspect) so you remember details about them or how you met them
3. Easy birthday reminders/tracker by calendar dates
4. Linking events with people (not just birthdays)
5. Can customize people to show nicknames instead of first names or whatever your preference is on where the nickname should be shown
Recently went to a subscription but is still affordable.

Great Business Card Scanner
Lots of goodies in the app, one of the best business card scanners I’ve used

Leider. Eigentlich eine tolle App, aber Abos schließe ich grundsätzlich nicht ab, egal, was da geboten wird. Laufende Kosten, gut und schön, aber wer bitte braucht denn z.B. eine KI, ausgerechnet in einer App mit den ganzen privaten Kontakten!? Da bekomme ich erst recht Bauchschmerzen …
Didn’t know I needed this, now I can’t go back
Starrise makes managing contacts feel… normal and thoughtful? I love being able to add notes, remember how I know someone, and keep little details (like “she has a dog…) without it feeling like work. It’s basically what the iPhone Contacts app should be.
The design is clean, easy to use, and not overwhelming at all. I especially like that it helps me stay intentional about people without turning it into a weird corporate CRM situation.
It’s simple, useful, and actually makes my life easier. Highly recommend if you like staying organized but still want things to feel human.

Beste Kontakte App
Ich hatte schon oft die Situation: Man tauscht kurz Nummern aus und ein paar Minuten später hat man den Namen schon wieder vergessen. Dann scrollt man verzweifelt durch alle Kontakte, um die richtige Person zu finden. Genau das löst die App. Man kann seine Kontakte einfach nach „zuletzt erstellt“ sortieren und findet so den Kontakt sofort. Genial!

Mit vielen Kontakten schwierig
Habe über 10.000 Kontakte. Dafür ungeeignet. Die Kontakte werden nicht verarbeitet.
Sehr schöne App
Die App ist sehr funktional und vom Design her klar und übersichtlich strukturiert. Sie hat alle Optionen, welche man für eine ordentliche Kontaktverwaltung benötigt. Der Service ist ebenfalls top. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit wird geantwortet und auf Änderungs-oder Ergänzungswünsche eingegangen. Insgesamt also klasse App!

Ich mag die vielen Funktionen und automatischen Erinnerungen an die Geburtstage. Die Karte ist außerdem praktisch.

Best contacts app
Amazing! I’ve been trying so many contacts apps on the App Store but they all fell short of functionality or design compared to this one. Have been using the new features like reminders generated from the notes or the business card scanning and absolutely love it.

Thanks for your review, but there seems to be a misunderstanding. The app is not just an export tool. It offers full contact management, including multiple notes per contact, gift ideas, file attachments, address autocomplete, quick action buttons for WhatsApp, Signal, and Telegram, creation date and location, birthday and anniversary reminders, additional sorting options, and much more. All of this works without a subscription. Only a few advanced features, such as the business card scanner and AI note summaries, have ongoing infrastructure costs, and therefore are offered via a small optional subscription, roughly the price of a single coffee per year. This is a fantastic utility app for contacts. It’s easy to use and provides a lot of basic utility Apple lacks. It’s not overly complex, it doesn’t trick you with stupid things. Highly recommend.

Fantastische Kontakte App
Die App hat komplett verändert, wie ich meine Kontakte verwalte. Sehr übersichtlich und intuitiv zu nutzen. Die Notizfunktion ist perfekt, um den Überblick zu behalten. Außerdem bekommt man vom Support schnell eine Antwort und die App wird stetig weiter entwickelt. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Endlich Ordnung in meinen Kontakt
Ich knüpfe beruflich und privat ständig neue Kontakte und hatte immer das Problem, mir zu merken, woher ich die Person kenne oder in welchem Zusammenhang wir uns getroffen haben. Genau das löst die App super! Endlich kann ich Notizen hinzufügen und meine Kontakte so organisieren, dass ich den Überblick behalte. Wirklich genau das, was mir bisher gefehlt hat.
