900 levels - false advertising.

The ad says “1000+ levels” but there are only 900 (dozens of which are duplicates). No daily puzzles or new game packs so once you reach 900 levels, you might as well delete the app. I wrote to tech support twice and got no response after more than two weeks.

Good with some suggestions …

I really like this nice little game, no real annoying distractions with the exception of the frequent requests for feedback. But some suggestions to increase enjoyment:
-Undo option
-Ability to add multiple“x”es with one stroke
-Option to auto fill “x”es when a star is placed

Appreciate the affordable ad-free option, but…

1. SO many duplicate puzzles. Maybe there are 200 original ones in total? I’m currently in the 500’s and have screen shots of many obvious duplicates.

2) it would be helpful if we could just drag our finger to fill whole lines of X’s rather than have to enter each one manually (see Netflix games version of Starstruck)

Stops at 900

Bought the non ad version only to find out there are only 900 games, then the app is worthless. Can’t even whip them out and start over.

Trapped by ads

Got up to a certain level 16? 20? and got stuck in an ad with no way to close after watching. No icon appeared and the only option was report ad / still could not get back to the game. You guys suck.

Improvements needed

When you start a box all the cells it invalidates as options should gain an x, should be able to drag across an area to add an x in all cells.

Lovely Game

I paid to remove ads as I don’t have much patience for them. With the ads gone, the game just flows. One level moves to the next, there’s no need to purchase anything to move ahead, it’s just simple colors and logic. This is a really nice and calming puzzle game.

Way too many ads!

Ads pop up in the middle of the game.

Couple improvements needed

When you start a box all the cells it invalidates as options should gain an x. Offer an option for no forced ads,

Great game

This is a great game but has too many add

Love it!

Absolutely love this game. For lovers of Starstruck and Stars by Inkwell. Such a fun puzzle game. No complaints with the app itself, works fine. Like that you can play more than 10 per day by watching an ad. I’m on level 300, hope there’s loads more levels.

I like the NYT version this is the same

Solid app, you need to get the ad free to enjoy because the ads in free mode are too much to actually play. Jen’s review is spot on but looks like they corrected the link and stopped after I clicked it once so I’ll give them an extra star. Still option to auto X after playing a star

Good puzzle but

Really need it to fill in the lines it can’t be once you put a star in then it would be really good as I spend half the time put x in places that could be automatic

Great game

Lots of fun and there is always a way to deduce without guessing.

A few recommendations:
- allow setting lots of x’s by dragging
- create an option to auto x (row/column and/or by color region)
- consider adding hint system
- add timers
- consider adding leaderboards
- consider adding a puzzle of the day
- consider adding a quest system or something that unlocks stickers or progression - more than just, oh, here’s another hundred puzzles
- consider adding easy / med / hard options, allowing users to select
- allow option to select larger boards

Mid-Round Ads

Game was fine until they started to throw in mid-round ads while you’re completing the puzzle.

Game ok but can’t exit ads. Deleted app

Game played ok but when ads come up you can’t get out of them. Takes me to the App Store. Just stupid. I deleted app

Could use a few improvements

The app is okay, the gameplay is solid. However, there really needs to be an option to automatically X the row/column/adjacents once a star is placed. Also, it desperately needs some sort of sound… there are haptics but no sound when a level is completed. And even though I paid for No Ads, a ratings screen pops up after almost every level asking me to rate the game—except clicking that rating prompt brings me to rate a DIFFERENT (but similar) game in the App Store. That needs to be fixed.

Nice game!

Starstruck is a clean and clever puzzle game similar to Netflix’s puzzle.
It’s easy to learn, challenging to master, and very satisfying to solve.
A great alternative that feels just as good as the original. ⭐

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Didn’t expect to like this one that much, but it’s actually really fun. The gameplay is simple to understand, the levels are well balanced, and it feels fair, you don’t hit a paywall every two minutes. I mostly play in short sessions and it’s perfect for that. Been playing for a few days now and still enjoying it, which is usually a good sign. Worth downloading.

Bad imitation

Weak attempt to copy the Netflix game. Ads are incredibly long.
