Fundamental flaw

Really really enjoy this game! Been looking for something exactly like this for a while.

The breeding and process of selecting the best horses is great, Im really enjoying how hard it is to win the big races. Makes the game exciting when you get a group 1 as those horses don’t come every year.

Annoyingly there is one thing thats happened to me a few times in big races.

I’m doing a jumps save and have lost the Cheltenham Gold cup twice to horses that ran in a different group 1 race the day day before….

One of them even WON BOTH! This needs to be changed as losing out of the Gold Cup by 1/2 a length to a horse than won a grade one the day before made me want to delete the game and never play again!!!!

Great game

Love the game but could be more realistic but still great

Jockey bookings

Recently it doesn’t let you use your retained rider for some reason I have reported this however in doing so I’ve lost all my saves across the game which is disappointing hopefully it’s just a small bug and can be fixed

Waste of time as progress doesn’t save

Spent a few hours on this, building up a stable and breeding base.. multiple G1 guineas winning stallion, load game up again and it has all overwritten with a new game, all progress lost. Waste of time

Poor

Prefer the old versions . This one too fiddly

Hi this is Kieran

Pay for starters orders 7 to return to iPads in the uk or I’ll stop playing your other games

Doesn’t work

Breeding doesn’t work when
You try to drag your mares on to the stallion to breed a new horse it doesn’t light up

Help jumps

Need a manager who can mange your horses races when you have too many in your stable takes way too long and how do you even know what distance there good at.

Hope things improve

Jan 2025. Really enjoyed this game but sadly text-to-speech has been disabled as i understand some people were having issus with ios 26 - personally it worked fine for me. Without this it detracts from the racing and also no longer get notified of runners on each day. For some reason there is also no longer jockey feedback after races. Really should be 5 star but these issues really spoil the game. Hopefully they can fix this in the short term. UPDATE: Text-to-Speech issue solved, well done to developers for quick fix.

Much improved

This game has much improved since text speech has been put back. The horse number system when racing was just stupid and reminded me of how it was several years ago. Much better now.

Best Mobile Horse Sim

I’ve been having a blast with this game! I’m already in the 2050s, it’s a lot of fun establishing legendary horses and having their offspring imitate their sire. I haven’t won a Triple Crown or Triple Tiara in any region yet, but I know eventually I will!

My only real suggestion at this time is to put a bit more emphasis on the AI running those races. I went up against a very strong Kentucky Derby winner, but then he didn’t bother showing up in the Belmont or Preakness. It would be nice to have a little more emphasis be put on these legendary feats.

Speaking of which, although the English and Japanese Triple Crown races have their real life names, the American ones do not. I assume this must be for copyright purposes, so it would be nice if we could rename races for our individual saves “for customization purposes”. That way if I want to call a certain race in May “The ____ Derby” I can. Thank you! I look forward to Starters Orders 8 when it’s out of PC.

Help jumps

Does anyone know why I have really good potential and get high rated horses but allways get comments saying jumping was bad how do I learn them to jump

I like this a lot

I really really liked the immersion and what the game offers feature wise, it’s like pink slip racing without winning horses or like drag racing if you’re into cars. I love the breeding aspect the statistic of horses and measures of running distances and breeding types of horses.

My problem,

The game breeding aspect can make it a bit easy… but not just that, one immersion breaking mechanic that stopped me from playing, entering races with every horse being YOUR OWN… meaning big cups you don’t lose anything and win big, G1 is now terrible horse breed and the bidding market is potentially littered and ruined with them. Just feels like exploiting without those limits, PLEASE address these issues. I kept an eye on updates since I stopped playing and didn’t want to leave feedback since there doesn’t seem to be much communication or channels to pass on these bugs.

JUST WOWWWW!

This is the best horse raving game EVER! The attention to detail is INCREDIBLE! BRAVO to the team who made this! I would go as far to say the BEST sports game for detail & reality I’ve seen! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Great

Love the game but prefer starters order 7 iOS

I like this a lot

I think this is a really great simulator with my only issue being how easy it is to get going with a breeding barn which takes away from the monetary value of the in game currency. I think the barn should be limited to how many horses it can hold or even a work load of sorts for your staff needing more or assistants.

Edit: it’s not actually as bad once you get to know the game and it’s currency value and how much effort it takes. The only real problem I have now is scrolling efficiently and not scrolling past what I want to look at.

Manipulative

This is a good game but it has one serious fault and that is that it is manipulative. I bought Starters Orders a few year ago for my desktop computer for a ‘one off’ price and it was great; the results were based on what you put into it without any financial diversions. This game is also a ‘one off’ price but there additional ‘in app’ purchase reminders which distort the players enjoyment and intelligent decision making. By that I mean that you can bet a large amount of money on a favourite horse but several times it does not perform so there are hints to make additional game purchases. Also, the training of horses is difficult unless you buy one with great potential and at a high cost, again a drain on your funds. Also if you want to bet a large amount on an absolute certainty, there are some from a byegone age, then the game restricts how much you can bet. Again a restriction on the funds you can build up. When I first started the game I sold the 2 initial horses to build up the funds from £150k to £800k, after a few tries, but this didn’t work and the funds manipulatively frittered away. I then decided to bet large monies on red hot favourites and after some time got to over £1 million which gave me a choice of purchasing some high rated horses. But, guess what, many did not perform too well and my monies dwindled. This is a good game, yes, but the skills and intelligence of the player are distorted by this manipulative process of ‘in app’ purchases. It is a shame really because I would have preferred the game to be purchased at a higher price, without the ‘in app’ purchases so that ones thinking process can reflect the true outcome of the game. So ‘caveat emptor’.

I prefer the older versions

I’ve only been playing the game for a few hours, it took me a minute to get the swing of things. The game is alright, but I do think starters orders 7 was better, the horses movements, graphics and the races were more realistic. I do like that the horses have a lot more colours and markings etc.

Génial

Pas simple à prendre en main mais sacrément addictif
