Can’t set zip code

I live about 3.3 miles from a Starwood Cafe and when I start the app it defaults to a Starwood Cafe 30 miles away. Even when I enter my zip code it refuses to find the close cafe and defaults to the location 30 miles away. Moreover it only finds one Starwood Cafe location in a 100 mile area. Meanwhile google maps picks up 12 different location in the area. I don’t think this application was tested well and released prematurely. I attempted to try and resolve the issue by going to the settings menu but could not find the solution after trying to 15 minutes. After which I deleted the application.
