Too many ads. Captions always disappearing
There are just way too many ads. And it’s always the same annoying ad !!! The captions always disappear after the ads pop up so I always have to fix it. It’s really annoying. Please fix this.

I paid to watch the fight 9.99 $ then another subscription 11.99$ and then a third subscription for 109.99$ they are luring us by paying each and you won’t see the fight

This is an online streaming platform but the App is extremely low quality. You can’t skip recap automatically, when you skip a part it takes forever to play, it doesn’t happen on Netflix or Disney+ or even Prime Video. It stops for no reason from time to time.

To be completely honest, everything about this app is disappointing. The content delivery is poor, and the auto-renewal system feels misleading. I’ll admit I wasn’t vigilant enough to cancel in time—but the way the app makes it unnecessarily difficult to unsubscribe feels manipulative and intentional.
I subscribed specifically to watch cricket and football, yet I couldn’t properly watch even a single match. On TV and PlayStation, the app constantly throws playback errors. On mobile, it barely runs smoothly for more than 10–15 minutes without lag or interruption. Watching a full over without buffering is nearly impossible.
As for football—there’s no consistency. Instead of showing the matches you actually want to watch, the app decides what you get.
Overall, the performance is unreliable, the user experience is frustrating, and it feels like a complete waste of money.

والله العظيم ماقول غير الحق ، أنا اشتركت بدايت الشهر وا جيت أريد ان اتباع اي شي يعني في التطبيق ولا يشتغل معي اي شي. أرسلت ايميلات كثيره ورسائل على الإنستقرام ولم يعبروني بشي . ماقول إلى حسبي الله عليهم في هاذه الايام المباركه .
Hidden Auto-Renewal and Poor Customer Service Support
I subscribed to StarzPlay for one month only to watch the ICC World Cup. At the time of subscription, there was no clear option indicating that the plan would automatically renew. However, after one month I was unexpectedly charged again, and the amount was more than double the original subscription price.
What is more frustrating is that I did not receive any email or notification in advance informing me that my credit card would be charged for renewal. This lack of transparency is very disappointing.
I contacted customer support twice requesting a refund, but unfortunately I have not received any response at all.
Very poor customer service and unclear billing practices. Not recommended.

for Cricket wc t20 final highlights are not uploaded, and what shows in app is Finals Ind vs Nz the content link is Eng vs Ind Semi final, they are fooling with viewers, how careless? dont they have any Quality check, what a blunder??
for any match that happens in the day, there is no highlights available in the same day evening or night, eg: Cricket Test match on Day 1 for India vs South africa is not available even after 5 hours of match being completed whereas all other OTT Platforms show highlights for sports matches within an hour on game being completed

Useless
If you attempt to log in while travelling, the app locks you out, even if you use a VPN and even when you return to the UAE. Ridiculous.
Horrible app and support
I purchased the T20 World Cup package on my iPad and the subscription can apparently be used on multiple devices. However, I am not being able to use the subscription on my iPhone and am being asked to purchase the subscription again. I mailed them regarding the issue but they keep asking for additional things even after providing them with the Apple invoice as proof of purchase.

Poor Full-Screen Experience on MacBook
I’m extremely disappointed with the viewing experience on Starz Inc. via STARZ when watching on a MacBook.
The platform does not properly utilize the full 15-inch screen. Instead of offering a true full-screen cinematic experience, the content appears in a reduced, almost mobile-style aspect ratio, leaving large unused areas on the display. This significantly affects immersion and overall viewing quality.
Watching on a laptop should not feel like watching on a phone. A MacBook screen is more than capable of delivering a proper widescreen format, and the app should optimize accordingly.
Please update the app to support true full-screen playback and better aspect ratio scaling for laptops and desktops.
Until this is improved, the experience feels incomplete and poorly optimized.

All movies and any video on this app will not work after the second day
I do not recommend this app to anyone after I paid for the subscription. Everything stopped working all the videos movies keep loading, but never open when the Internet connection. I have it very strong.

1. I subscribed to watch seria A (italian football league) .. once i clicked the subscription button the charged which is normal put it took a few days and several emails to activate my subscriptions!

More than 80% of the movies and shows have ads. Even if you have a paid subscription. Will never ever subscribe to this useless app ever again.
