App wasn’t great to start with now barely usable
Actually came back and dropped a star because of the ridiculous response from the developer. We all get that it’s ad based, I wasn’t complaining about that. I was complaining that the ads are screening up the UI AND UX enough so that I’d rather just use the web version of Ravelry. Ugh.
Like others I’m having issues with the ads. The app already had some struggles from the layout and the UI, but the new problem is video ads are now taking over my entire screen and I can’t get out of them without restarting the app. Same thing with accessing the PDFs and other options that pop up at the bottom of the screen, covered by apps. I get it you want to make money but this is ridiculous. I was using this to gauge my interest in the $4.99 version and frankly I’ll be looking for something else based on this experience.

Unmodern und umständlich
Habe die App leider wieder löschen müssen. Der erste Login war schon wahnsinnig umständlich vom Interface her, Suchfunktion ist versteckt oder nicht existent, Button für Forum buggt. Schade.
Extremely annoying ads
I mostly use this app to for the row counter. I also search for patterns and upload photos to projects. These functions all work well, except for the loud video ads that play unexpectedly, and don’t have a way to mute or close them because the X is obscured. Sometimes this means I can’t get back into the patterns and have to close and reopen the app to start over. The ads have woken up kids because of this stupid app, which means cranky family and less sleep for me.

Good, but...
Crashes more often than any other app that I use, but still the best interface for Ravelry available. The option to add a needle size to your own project is deeply flawed. There is no button to say you’re done, whether you choose a needle size or not. I had to re-start my phone to escape that dialogue.
