Organization is the key ingredient!

I’ve been using this app for a few weeks now. I’m extremely pleased with the interface and the ability to easily add, edit and organize my recipes and collections.

My absolute favorite feature is the ability to update a recipe based on number of servings. It has totally changed the way I cook. Not only can I plan for meals, but if I’m in a rush, I can pick a recipe (sorted by cook time!) and have a meal ready in 30 minutes or less - and no more wasted leftovers that absolutely no-one eats!

Two things I’d like to see updated. 1) add the ability to sort by favorites (I want to pull up my 5-star recipes first!) and 2) add the ability to transfer my shopping list items to other apps. I will give this app 6 stars if you can make it happen.

Truly no complaints. This app is a serious upgrade to how I used to manage my recipes. Highlighting, copying and pasting from websites or digging through cookbooks is an in-sane process to me now.

Now I just have one place I go to quickly add or find a recipe, check my ingredients and I’m cooking, literally. I also love that the app overrides my phone auto-sleep feature to stay open while I cook. Yet another reason for the five-star rating. Great job, StashCook!

Used to be great

This used to be a great app but went to open it today and it has logged me out and when I logged in again not only did it want to charge me previously this was optional, but it has lost all my saved recipes so I would have been paying for nothing. No longer recommend.

Failed to start recipe process

I used to love this app and use it all the time however he recently it doesn’t let me save anything no matter what I do whether it’s through browser paste the link or anything it just says I failed to start the recipe processors every single time. And yes, the app is up-to-date.

Best of the best

I’ve tried many of these apps but they all fell short when it came to getting recipes off Facebook and similarly difficult to access sites.

But Stashbook lets you track down most every type of recipe you want! It’s a bit of a learning curve but once you’re on top of that it’s a dream to use!

Asks too much personal information

I thought this sounded like a good idea but why do you have to complete a questionnaire about yourself. I shall now delete this as it seems a way to steal your personal information

How can I organize my recipes?

You can save recipes from websites, screenshots, handwritten cards, or notes. The app allows you to create custom collections to categorize your recipes by meal type, lifestyle, or cooking style, effectively building your own digital cookbook.

Is Stashcook free to use?
