User reviews

Please update

Great app with older os, currently crashes every instance with newest os

App is unusable!

This app had promise implementing the Coolprop thermo calc engine but the UI is totally nonfunctional on an uptodate ios. The UI stalls after each user interaction and renders the app unusable. Come on Apple you should be curating out this trash!

FAQ

What materials can StateCalc calculate properties for?

StateCalc can calculate thermodynamic properties for 88 industrial materials, including Steam, Ammonia, Propane, R-22, R-134a, Carbon Dioxide, and many others. Additional materials are available for in-app purchase.

What thermodynamic properties does StateCalc provide?

StateCalc provides temperature, pressure, specific volume, internal energy, enthalpy, entropy, quality, specific heat capacities, sound speed, thermal conductivity, and viscosity for selected materials.

Can I visualize the state of materials with StateCalc?

Yes, StateCalc allows you to see the location of the fixed state on T-s, T-v, and P-h diagrams, aiding in the understanding of material behavior.

Does StateCalc support different unit systems?

StateCalc offers two sets of predefined unit systems (SI and British) and also allows for custom units to be defined separately for each variable, providing flexibility for users.

What information is available in the fluid information sheets?

For each pure fluid, StateCalc provides an information sheet detailing the chemical and skeletal formula, GHS hazard specification, critical and triple point information, CAS number, and molar mass.

What is the price of StateCalc?

StateCalc is a paid application priced at $2.99. This one-time purchase grants access to its core features.

How often is StateCalc updated?

The latest version of StateCalc is 6.0, which was last updated on October 26, 2016. Future updates may introduce new features or material support.
