I just found this app to read the paper on my phone and it is fabulous! No more toting my laptop along on vacation. I love it!!!
Missing the paper
Without notice you’ve quit delivering our paper yet our bill reflects that we should get a paper every day except Saturday which is also a stupid move on your part Saturdays the one day I do not work and I could sit down with a cuppa coffee and physically read a physical paper but you’ve decided that Saturday is more important to your employees and say a Monday or Tuesday when there’s a zero news please bring back the paper and adjust her bill sincerely missing the real thing

Finally an app where reading the newspaper on my cell phone is convenient and intuitive. I never thought I would break my “paper” addiction. While that will always be my “preference”-paper, it is important to me to lessen my environmental impact, and doing that takes sacrifice. This app helped me make the transition. Thank you.

Good reporting and easy acces to articles
A “bridge” too far
I didn’t see a notice that SJ was switching to a new (well, probably not new, probably old…but different supplier of the bridge column. I will eventually get used to “Simple Saturday” and other twists like Cy the cynic, but will forever wonder why bridge is still “never on Sunday.”
If SJ would consider another change, I suggest something like a “Simple Sunday” column which actually provided lessons to teach the basic rules and strategies of the game to people that have never played but would if it was unthreatening to do so.
Bridge columns tend to be haughty and make the game seem out of reach to novices, which is not a good ploy to increase the ranks of players (social or serious) and newspaper bridge column readers, as well. SJ might want to fix that.

I feel grateful that I have every paper available. The local and the USA Today also. I am so glad we are conserving paper.

Easy to use. Different size type. Easy to follow articles as you read them. I do miss handling the print copy.
Poor delivery service
Have not received paper for 6 days in Dec and none today Jan 1. You have a delivery problem and a Distribution Manger than doesn’t care. Drove the neighborhood and didn’t see any papers laying in driveways or on porches. Our delivery service is terrible and calling in makes no difference. When you can get to a live person they will credit you, I don’t want a credit I want the paper. Solution maybe that the Manager has to deliver all missed papers. I’ll bet problem would get cured immediately.

This is a superb application for reading the electronic edition of the newspaper. It's especially clear on photos, drawings and illustrations. Even the comics are easier to read.

Best way to read the local paper
We like keeping up on the local news, but we don’t want to use paper. This app is one of the best newspaper apps we’ve seen. It’s just like reading a paper newspaper, but without the paper.
Easy to Read
I like the app as it is easy to use. The articles are easy to read in the window. I like that articles that are on multiple pages can be read in the window without going to multiple pages.
