I regret many purchase that I've made, but I've never regretted one like this. This app is totally a lie and it's not worth a cent.
Should make a limited free version
Useless app I bought for my statics class. They should offer a limited free version to try before buy. Big waste of money for me.

What is the point of buying this app??! You cannot make your own body diagrams, you can only change the values of the diagrams already set. Want my money back.

Must have civil/structural app
Firstly I would like to say that this app has huge potential
It is a very useful engineering app, especially for 1st year undergraduates, and offers an acceptable range of structures that can be analysed and provides reaction forces, rotations, bending moment and shear force diagrams.
However it only offers solutions for mainly determinate structures (two supports) and doesn't offer solutions for trusses !
This app can be improved by introducing beams with 3 supports, trusses and frames. It would be amazing if you could edit basic truss or frame structures and analyse them.

I agree with the units. mm^4 would be a lot easier. And providing deflections with the 'I' input would make it more useful if you required a quick answer on site. Combining different types o loads would also be great. Useful app for the price though

Great Idea - Serious problem
This app could really be usefull if you could depend on it giving correct answers. The very first time I attemped to use it it gave an obviusly incorrect result for the shear in a simply supported beam with a single concentrated load in the center. It seems unlikely that is the only error in the whole app if you find it on the first use. If you can't rely on the results it is not of any use. I am sure the developer knows a lot about the subject but there can't have been much checking for this app. I will keep watching to see if my experience was a rare event. I hopecit was.

DOES have imperial unit
Great app! Clean interface, robust information. To the other reviewers: go into your iphone's general settings app, then scroll down to the statics icon and switch units.
Add imperial measurements
Great software. As an architect that does A few residences this would enable me to to some simple in house engineering much faster. But it needsan option for US measurement systems.

Before I purchased this, I wish I had known that the only choice of unit convention was the SI system. If the developer would add U.S. Customary units, I'd add another star.
