What's New in stationOS Respond
1.0.2

Fixes, and one thing you asked for. The map opens up. Every call's map now has an expand button, next to Recenter and Directions. It fills the screen — same hydrants, same preplan markings, same responder positions — with the address across the top. Inline it is about an inch and a half tall on a phone, which is small for something you are reading street names off in a moving vehicle. The map on an apparatus iPad stopped disappearing. With the system text size turned up, the header could take the whole column and squeeze the map down to a strip showing nothing but the Directions button, on the one screen whose job is the address and the map. The address was being cut short too. That screen now scrolls at those text sizes and keeps the map a usable size. At ordinary text sizes nothing changes and the map still grows to fill the space. A response you gave in a dead zone is no longer thrown away. Tap Responding without signal and the app holds it, then sends it when you have coverage. If the server had a bad moment at that exact point it used to quietly discard your answer instead — nothing left to retry, and no screen telling you. Now only an outright rejection drops it. Unit statuses read properly. A rig on scene showed up as ON_SCENE in one place, On Scene in another and ON SCENE in a third, and every in-progress status was the same shade of blue, so a glance at the units told you nothing about who was where. It is one spelling everywhere now, and colour-coded: dispatched, en route, on scene and transporting are each their own colour. You can see which rigs are there and which are still coming. Nothing here changes who gets paged, what breaks through silent mode, or how your phone records your drive.
