So many bugs
The app itself is really cool but some of the stats are soooo buggy. I can look at a song and it says I’ve streamed it 13 times, but then go to the top listeners of the song and it says I’ve streamed it once. Also some of my top albums that show I’ve streamed them say 120 times, won’t show up in my lifetime top albums even if the other are all less than 120. Also hate when the album cover is the thumbnail from the music video instead of the actual album cover

Bugs
Too many bugs, Apple Music doesn’t sync at times, not the correct number of streams
Missing stats
So I purchased this one time and I submitted my data from Spotify and I was able to see all my reproductions but now I can’t even see the data from certain songs I still on the same number on certain artists despite I been listening enough so idk what’s goin on with this app
Scam
You literally pay an initial $9.99 to view information that you can already view on the Spotify website and if you want to view an extended version of your stats, you have to request spotify to download it so you’re basically paying for information you have access to already. Waste of my money.

this app has too many bugs and glitches. its like every week theres something new thats wrong with the app whether ots the leaderboards not loading, the friends leaderboard not loading and permanently disappearing (which hasnt been working for the entire year), or streams not uploading. i am a hardcore music listener and am the #6 listener of my favorite artist with over 700k minutes listened so im sp disappointed when i open this app and its not working.

Has potential, needs fixing
I’m the type of person who logs everything, especially music. Discovering this app was super exciting initially, and I still check on it now and then. However, when you check your stats there will at least be one song that is mentioned multiple times. There are also songs that have just disappeared. And a few more with the incorrect title. The artwork is almost always wrong, but I can get past that. At one point for me, everything was actually bug free and I loved it. But about a year and a half ago all of the issues I mentioned happened simultaneously and it hasn’t gone back to normal since. I even sent emails to their support stating the changes that happened and if they can fix it. Nothing. Not even a response.
So truthfully, at the moment I would give it a 1 out of 5. BUT… because I have seen and experienced what this app can offer when it’s functional, I’m giving it a 3. Mainly because I’m trying to remain optimistic that this can be exactly what it’s supposed to be: a 100% accurate statistic log of your music listening history that you can check on at anytime.
So truthfully, at the moment I would give it a 1 out of 5. BUT… because I have seen and experienced what this app can offer when it’s functional, I’m giving it a 3. Mainly because I’m trying to remain optimistic that this can be exactly what it’s supposed to be: a 100% accurate statistic log of your music listening history that you can check on at anytime.

Can’t open the app anymore
I’ve been using this app since 2022, and I’ve never had any issues with it. Since March, however, the app hasn’t been opening or even loading the login screen. I don’t know what to do to fix this problem. Great app though.
App is glitchy and missing streams
Stats.fm in concept sounds like a great app, but when streams are constantly disappearing and half the app is bots faking streams, it’s kind pointless. One day i’ll have a song with 100+ streams then the next day it’ll show 3 and also reflect this across the leaderboard. I paid for premium to reflect my entire streaming history but I wish I never had, as this app is clearly not well maintained or developed. Bummer.

Ads make app nonfunctional
Ads with exit buttons on the inaccessible corners of your screen, the kind that make you have to close the app, reload it, and hope the ad you get this time doesn’t have a bad button. Scummy stuff, and I feel like a fool for even having the app

stats fm used to be a really good app showing you listening history and minutes you’ve spent overall listening to music now it’s absolutely plagued with ads makes my phone hot and it’s ui has become almost unusable by them pushing every sponsor they have and almost every click you get me with a promotion for their premium subscription to an app you check maybe once a month i miss when you could actually just see your stats instead of basically feeding into a big money grab that gives you a little history of what you listened to you can’t even listen to music while using the app anymore since it’s basically playing an add everywhere you look i used to like this app but now it’s just straight adslop and gives you no actual information on your stats use if you want a music app that’s interactive just use airbuds instead don’t download this bloatware.

Stats update??
The artist top listeners ranking hasn't updated in days for me. There is at least a 800 minute difference between my current minutes for an artist and what the chart says in the rankings
