I am using Statto as a replacement for Ulti Analytics and it does similar things. I am not able to export the data to a CSV file. I would also like to have the interface not swap field directions every point and allow 3 character names to appear as the player indicators as I have a lot of overlap with only two characters allowed. I hope Statto is a long term solution for many years to come or iUltimate/Ulti Analytics makes a return.

Good but could use some love
Seems like this app isn’t really getting much love from the devs anymore which is a shame. As it stands it’s quite useful and pretty intuitive to use during a game. I wish there were more stats, for ex it’s perfectly positioned to track puller stats like distance, hang time, and ob/ib.
In reviewing a game I can’t seem to figure out how to see more than either the pass leading to a turnover or the two passes before a goal. I’d like to be able to visualize that all a little better.
I hope the developer keeps making this app better because it shows tons of promise already.

great Ultimate stats app
For coaches or spectators, keeping stats on the gameplay is quite helpful (analysis for coaches and engagement in the gam for spectators). Statto is an easy-to-use app for tracking the movements of the disc for each point and identifying the overall stats at the end of the game. Highly recommended.
The best stat app for ultimate
This is a great product for those that want more meaningful and advanced metrics on their team. We previously tried other apps and they did not deliver in the same way Statto does. You will want to make sure you have a stat keeper on the sideline as this will be too much to handle for a single leader.

Ultimate stats are still developing, and statto is leading the way. Using the app is easy and the data you get is awesome. Developer is very responsive for questions and feature requests! Excited to keep using the app.
Outstanding app
I love using this app more than others as it keeps track of touches and more advanced analytics than some of the other apps.
My only grievance is a minor one, that there is no same line option when selecting which players are out there. While it’s not major, it definitely affects the quality of life for the app.

Extremely useful and user friendly.
I have been using Statto for a couple of years with multiple teams. When I first found it I thought it was great. The many updates over that time have made it more and more useful. We have become dependent on it to help our coaching staff in making individual player and team tactical decisions. It has definitely helped us to become more analytical with our teams games with both the on screen summaries, but also the vast exportable data. And best of all, it is so user friendly. Highly recommended!!

Cool but too expensive
Title says it all. I haven’t actually used it for tracking, but a teammate did. It’s cool to see the stats. It would be great if they had a team bundle where you can buy one full license for tracking and then limited add-ons so players can review all the stats...

Hi! Thanks for the review. Good news - you can do that already, no bundle required. The free version of the app can always view stats, just not view a game’s play-by-play or track games. So only the person who is tracking needs to buy the full unlock and then can send the stats to teammates to view in the app. Usually I advise splitting the cost across your team so you only pay about $2 each to get stats for your team forever.
A little bit too smart for its own good
In theory, this app was everything that I wanted as an ultimate coach. In practice, it is just a bit too many moving parts for me to keep track of everything. I think if you had a dedicated statistician on the sideline then it would be perfect. In my case, I’m trying to pay attention to my team and what they need rather than who specifically threw every throw.

It’s a great idea, but I think it just needs to keep the average Ultimate coach working alone in mind. You can do all of those things in this app, but requiring you to basically play the whole entire game out with your thumbs I think takes it a step too far.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! Agreed, live tracking is definitely designed for an assistant coach, injured player or supporter who is willing to help. Pass-by-pass is supported because the basic stats you mention need context to be really helpful. Imagine comparing two players, both with 3 turnovers, but one made 50 passes and the other made 5. If you're a one-person team (as I know a lot of coaches are) you can still: a) Film your games and then track them once you're back home. b) Track only the throw or two that lead to a score. With b), much of the feedback Statto gives will be skewed (as calculations are relative to total touches) but you'll at least get the basic stats you mention for goals, blocks, and assists. This app is really well designed and aesthetically pleasing. At higher levels of ultimate this is definitely the app to use.

Can't say enough good things about this App!
I quickly downloaded this app prior to heading to a tournament to give it a try. I handed it over to someone who'd never seen the instruction videos and we were away. SO simple to use. Minimal guesture entry needed and such great level of data and visualisation.
After game two when the team players realised we were recording stats they all huddled around and passed the iPad between them to review their performances. We even had one guy, who shall remain nameless, sky his own player in the endzone to top them in the rankings! #blamedan
Some might baulk at the cost but when you can see, after a few games, that you are going to use this for years to come it is well worth it in my view and there is a free trial period to play with it before commiting. You can't argue with that.

Great for trials!
We used Statto to run trials for our mixed team and it really helped the selection process. Will be using it more this season for sure.

Brilliant app, it's one of those apps that you try and wish that it had always existed. Works amazingly to track stats and games, something to show the team during training for positioning, and counter plays against previous teams.
Great looking app that covers everything you need!
Statto is the first frisbee related app that has really been useful for me. Great graphics to show profiles, clear explanation at the beginning to show you how to use the app, and a great tool to monitor and evaluate all games. I've used this app outdoors, indoors and on the beach and it's generated a lot of interest in the frisbee community surrounding me. Definitely worth the investment for any team who wants to use statistics as part of their tryout process/season!!!
