It don’t work

The stabilizer works when it wants to, to calibrate the stabilizer either manual, automatic etc it doesn’t work. Great way intentions but the product itself does not work and I paid 100 US dollars for a product that doesn’t work nor do what it claims

Terable

Don’t get this! It didn’t connect to my iPhone 6s or my friends iPhone X. A lot of the instructions in the app at Chinese. Every time I try to calibrate it, it kicks me out and makes me re connect.

Not fully functional

The camera features are very limited, poor quality options.
The facial tracking and phone leveling features were working, now have magically stopped.
Please fix this.

The hardware is as bad as the software and....

The hardware is as bad as the software and I have nothing good to say about the software. The whole thing is poorly put together. It is a real PITA to use.

Garbage

This app needs reworking.

Half of the app is in Chinese, the other half in English. The instructions are english, the troubleshooting is in Chinese. So if you have ANY problems, good luck.

There are three methods to calibrate your device to your stabilizer. Fortunately there are no instructions as to which to start with. And if you pick the wrong one you have to either learn Chinese, watch the app crash out until you unpair and forget the stabilizer, or all of the above.

Recalibrating to get it to work correctly rarely works. However you have to do it every time you fire it up. Then when it takes ten+ times, it drains your stabilizer’s battery quickly.

The stabilizer is pretty much garbage strictly because of this app. Released in an unfinished state, they should have never hit the shelves with this product.

Trash

The app is use less. Just use the regulAr apple camera app.

Lose of connection

Once set up work well for like 2 mins then loose connection. When trying to re calibrate device it tells me this device does not support this function. I just purchased the device Friday and is already having problems. There’s nowhere to find support on what to do or how to fix this problem. I agree with other customers it works well with iPhone app but with SteadyGO it always problem.

Worked for about a half hour

The device worked great for about a half hour. That’s when I downloaded the app, and it told me the gimbal had to be updated, So I let it. After the update, the gimbal just makes a clicking noise and doesn’t work at all.

Crap app crashes on iOS 12

Please update the app for iOS 12. Crashes A LOT On iOS 12

My oh my

This app and little 2 page book of instruction you call a manual are completely garbage . My tzumi is all over the place . Keeps saying need updates and won’t update .

iPhone X

I can’t get it to connect to the iPhone X using the app. Any tips?

Not a bad gimbal but...

The gimbal is fine but this software is lacking. I have issues connecting, features don’t work. Not even 100% in English. I’ve been waiting for an update but it’s been months. I guess you get what ya pay for.

Please Update to iPhone X !!

Come on 5mo. Ago last update?????

SteadyGO Smartphone 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal [Malfunction]

The first time I used it I didn’t have any problem. Th next time I used it the Shooting Mode stop working. I have IPhone 8plus and am very disappointed with the app because it wouldn’t let me use the Shooting Mode function. Please fix this.

Fix this please

This gimbal once set up works relatively well( in the iPhone camera app) BUT your “app” to control the gimbal is 100% useless. My iPhone X can shoot 240frames per second (FPS) This app only allows me to shoot in 24fps which looks really bad. I mean what the hell, why would anyone shoot this bad of quality I don’t understand how this could even be an option, but yet you made it the only option. 2nd, right out of the box, mine literally came with no instruction... nothing at all, I had to go online to find part of the manual. These features you advertise are BS, AND I have to switch to your app while the gimbal is on in order to calibrate it... which is crazy because the force of my fingers are fighting the gimbal motors, I just don’t understand why you would release this product yet. Clearly you are not ready. BUT once set up in my iPhones camera app... the gimbal does do a really nice job of stabilizing, it’s just frustrating the effort it takes to calibrate it, since your app is useless and shoots garbage footage I cannot use it. FIX YOUR APP

Merely sufficient

This is the factory software used to operate the Tzumi SteadyGO 3-axis gimbal. It’s pretty useless. Any video shot within the program is skippy and grainy. It has some features that are only useful when recording within it. I found that the gimbal works pretty well on its own without using the app. Prior to the most recent iOS update, I was able to use the app to calibrate the gimbal. But app has not been updated yet, and now the calibration function doesn’t work

Waste of time

I was happy when I first picked up the product. After charging it. I sadly got up set and realized that this did not work. Face recognition lol yeah right. This app does not work. I have a IPhone 7
The gimbal does not properly work like worded on the box. Come with little information and lies for a $100. I will be returning mines to Walmart

Bugged with iPhone X

Though this app does allow for face recognition it doesn’t let me use a key feature which is switching between taking pictures, switching between front and rear cameras and going into record mode from the click of the button located on the gimbal with the camera icon. Also the hud is a bit off due to the iPhone X design. Please update and fix bug!

Overall pretty nice

I bought the Steady Go stabilizer today, and, so far, both device and app work pretty well. Motion is smooth and easy to control. Tracking for face and for selected objects works well enough. And the video produced is noticeably more stable/smooth (though, of course, not to the degree of more expensive stabilizers).

There are, however, a few things that are a bit disappointing - some of which kept me from adding a fifth star.
APP:
(1) The photo/video library screen doesn’t rotate when in landscape mode.
(2) A minor issue, but a couple of text lines display in Chinese (or maybe Japanese, I’m not sure), such as the settings toggle for the camera-timer.
DEVICE:
(3) I wish the method for changing to portrait mode was simpler and more natural. The required 70-degree method is awkward, and it’s easy to accidentally angle where it resets to landscape.
(4) A missed opportunity was not including a scroll-wheel next to the other handle controls to control the phone’s zoom setting. When the stabilizer is on, you want to avoid touching/pushing on the screen (as it fights against the gimbal motors).
(5) It seems the Steady Go stabilizer was not designed to work with the Plus-sized iPhone (mine is 7 Plus) - or at least not ideally. It will [just] fit in the clamping holder, but, even with the balancing adjustment extended as far as possible, it’s not enough to bring a Plus-sized iPhone into balance (which is required for good results). My work-around was to attach a small, flat metal weight in a subtle spot on the light side which made it balance. Seems to work fine but not ideal. And I hope the device is designed to handle the increased weight of a Plus-sized iPhone long-term.

So it has some opportunities for improvements. But, considering the device’s affordable price, I’d say it works very well and I’m enjoying it.
