First of all you can connect it to your PC and play any game on it but also you can go anywhere and play it. I went to Italy and I could play every game. It is one of my favourite apps and if you are waiting to get it then it WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU. I would definitely recommend it to you.

I tried connecting my laptop with my ipad and it was sooo laggyy I hated it sm. Maybe it would work if I had a pc or a better tablet? idk

Works Great!
I use this to stream to my Apple TV. I paired my Nintendo Switch controllers in the Apple TV Bluetooth settings and changed the Wi-Fi channel from auto to a static channel. Seamless!
The lag is real
The Bluetooth controller input lag makes most precision gaming unplayable. And no it is not my internet speed. Steam Link says it excellent for streaming.
Still not Apple Silicon native
No idea why Apple still allows App Store submissions that require Rosetta in 2026. Valve has had basically 6 years to get their act together. Now they are running up against a clock for the next macOS.
Slow connection
Downloaded this app on Apple TV but shows slow connection even my wifi shows 100mbps lagging and your Mac display has to be on while streaming
it just crashes
Went through all the trouble of pairing and linking the computer and never get past the loading wheel… big picture launches on computer and never comes to the phone.

Surprisingly easy to use
Great app that lets me stream games to my living room using my Apple TV! Was able to easily connect my new steam controller via Bluetooth and had a blast playing Jedi Survivor. The network graphs are fantastic for debugging any latency issues.
