Pay walls everywhere
You go to buy a new unit it hits you with a subscription. You go to play a campaign, subscription. Everything you do you need to subscribe to the membership. Expected a free to play earn your way type experience with some micro transactions obviously.
Greedy husk of itself
I downloaded this because I remembered how much I loved it in the past only to be flashbanged by the fact that ALL progression was locked behind a subscription. This is almost comedically greedy, and if I didn’t know better I’d think this was a parody
Look, Blindflug…
I used to play this game all the time when it was on Apple Arcade. The game itself was very fun, and I thoroughly enjoyed it while it lasted. I used to be such a big fan of you guys. I still play the classic version of First Strike Final Hour all the time.
Take it from someone who has been a fan since 2016: I cannot help but feel let down. I really wish I had something more positive to say. I’m just… sad.
I had everything in Stellar Commanders. I played so much that I had unlocked every unit, every skin, all of it. Then, one day, all my hard work was thrown away. You deleted the Apple Arcade version, and didn’t bother to transfer any of my progress to the new version you made.
Instead, I was met with a new version of the game with nothing unlocked that wanted me to pay ten dollars minimum every month if I wanted to use even the most basic of units, not to mention if I wanted to play the game without being constantly bombarded with intrusive advertisements.
It felt hostile. Cold. Like my favorite game had been weaponized to try and get to my wallet.
I used to be angry about it. Now I’m just beside myself.
Your recent business practices have been so avaricious, beyond all reason, it feels like it’s being done out of hatred. Like you are spiting your players for some reason. Dangling what could be a good game over their heads and then punishing them with absorbent subscription prices if they dare to try and enjoy it. This is happening with First Strike, too.
I don’t know what I did to deserve this from you, but I’m sorry. I just wanted to enjoy your games. If you’re going to make me choose between enjoyment and financial responsibility, then I guess my decision is made.
Let me be very clear: I am not looking for excuses, explanations, or some justification for this deplorable decision you’ve made.
I want my games back.
I want my Blindflug back.
I want the versions of them I know and love.
Not these soulless husks they’ve become.
I won’t be doing business with you again for the foreseeable future. I’m aware this is unlikely to change your mind, but I am beyond bargaining with you.
This personal boycott of mine is the best I can do.
I’ll be back if you guys ever have a change of heart.
Please don’t bother responding to this if you’re only going to defend your decision or justify yourself.

Very nice at a high price
So let me make this short and sweet I loved first strike it is a very nice game and then stellar commanders came out I didn’t know about it until I saw the suggestion in first strike I tried this game and it is really fun but to unlock stuff you need to pay an expensive subscription and I know the company needs to make money some how but maybe you should find a different way I mean it is a very nice game and I love playing it but if there is nothing for me to unlock with out spending money the game gets boring just playing the same thing over and over now I’m not a game company but at least please make it so there are some free unlocks I mean you can keep the subscription but maybe make it like a pass or something like that because I like playing the game it’s just I want to have the satisfaction of gaining different troops and advancing but I don’t want to play an expensive subscription I love the game it is a very nice piece of art and really well put together I just want to be able to get different troops without emptying my pockets other than that this game is one of the bests I have seen on mobile in a while so good job and please make it so I can play the game with a goal of unlocking something without spending money thank you

For strike is amazing, but this app needs a lot of fixes
I kinda like this app but first you only get seven minutes before the planet explodes and if you wanna upgrade your stuff, you have to get achievement like you have to do MPS or something 15 times and then when you do do it, you can’t unlock it unless you have to get a subscription

Not a bad game
The game itself isn’t bad but literally everything in it is behind a pay wall, it’s absurd. Get a way to improve troops without a giant pay wall.
Progress loss
I’ve always been a fan of stellar commanders and before the game became free I’ve had if for quite a long time successfully grinding and unlocking absolutely every single weapon. However, now in the free version all of my progress is entirely gone and I have to restart all over again and not only that but if I want to play the campaign to unlock certain units I must pay to do so. As a player of this game I’m not particularly pleased.

La versión de Apple Arcade te dejaba ir avanzando en el juego y cumpliendo objetivos para poder ir desbloqueando unidades, ahora te cobran una suscripción excesivamente cara para poder usar otras unidades aparte de las básicas y para jugar el modo historia, básicamente volviendo el juego extremadamente pay to win y una basura. En el anterior existia una moneda "premium" y aca te quieren cobrar por absolutamente todo, ni si quiera puedes usar tu progreso de la versión anterior de Arcade aún y cuando son juegos completamente iguales

Terrible Game
This game has potential. It seems to be quite fun and takes a new approach to an old game style. However the fact that to unlock past the most basic units and actually enjoy the game you have to purchase a very expensive subscription it just takes what could be potential and destroys it. I understand the need for revenue but maybe advertisements would work better then an aggressive subscription model. Just sad to see a fun game destroyed by a money hungry company

Don’t play it!
It’s now filled with ads and a disgusting subscription which ruins the game used to be on Apple Arcade where you didn’t have to pay for anything whatsoever except for Apple Arcade! Do not support this game. It’s terrible now.

We just wanted to clarify one thing: The game had actually cost money, as it was part of the Apple Arcade subscription, but now the game in its base form is free to play. As we are a small company, we are required to implement some form of non-mandatory purchase options to support ourselves financially and create more games.
