Disappointed..
game completely ruined, what starts off as a near perfect game, once you hit level 7/8, the typical mobile experience comes into play. 20 notifications smother your screen constantly, your base goes out into the open to be attacked by whales constantly halting your progress, guilds are mandatory for defense but require constant logging in all throughout the day instead of being allowed to play at your own pace. So heartbreaking to see so much potential wasted.

It’s like if Iron Marines meets Crashlands. Absolute incredible game. Everything is pretty simplified in terms of the building, which is usually too time consuming or overly complicated for me to bother. That’s the other fantastic thing about this game, they respect the players time. They know it’s a mobile game. Majority of people want something to open for 5min inbetween breaks and progress. Everything is fast in this game. Movement, skipping cutscenes, building, opening packs, combat, etc.
I only have a few hours in so no comment on late game paywall, which I’m a little hesitant on, since it doesn’t seem like there is anything to really farm. So far every upgrade you have is tied to directly to story progression aside from gacha. So if you hit a wall, there’s nothing you can do except wait for gacha pulls. But more might open up later, or the game is balanced in a way that maxing the upgrades you have available will always be enough. Only time will tell, but I’m really enjoying that time so far
