What's New in Stellar Tour

6.5

June 28, 2026

The sky just got a whole lot bigger. This version adds billions of real stars โ€” the actual Milky Way, mapped star by star, so you can zoom from familiar constellations all the way down into the dense glow of the galactic core and keep finding more. It's the biggest thing we've ever added, and it took a while to get right. We hope it leaves you a little starstruck.

Me

You are the best app ever really ๐Ÿ“ฃ

Good fun learning with kids

My kids learn more about starts and planets.

amazing

great app, can't deside if SkyView is better, but i recommend getting both

WOW!!

This is the greatest app! I love being able to even see the moon below the horizon so I know where it will rise! Since I live so near a large city, itโ€™s not always easy to see all the stars. So itโ€™s great that the app helps me identify the constellations even when Iโ€™m not able to see all the stars involved! Itโ€™s almost like a video game! :)
