Stellar Vanguard is a neon-retro vertical space shooter for iPhone and iPad. Every run is a fresh loadout — pick one of three power-ups between waves, dodge swarms of energy bullets, and chase a higher score on a run that rebuilds your ship from scratch. THE CORE LOOP Fly, dodge, shoot. Six enemy classes — grunts, shooters, tanks, splitters, bombers, and turrets — drop waves at you in escalating patterns. Clear a wave and choose from three random power-ups. Stack them differently every run. THREE BOSSES, THREE FLAVORS A boss rotates in every five waves, each with distinct movement patterns and multi-phase attacks. Survive long enough to face the Leviathan. SKILL-BASED DEFENSE • FOCUS MODE — hold two fingers to shrink your hitbox for precise dodging. • BOMB METER — graze enemy bullets to charge a screen-clearing blast. Three-finger tap to detonate. • GRAZE SCORING — the closer you dodge, the bigger your combo multiplier. PROGRESSION THAT STICKS Every run earns Credits you spend between runs: • Permanent ship upgrades: damage, fire rate, movement speed, health. • Ten unique ship skins, each with its own color palette and thruster style. DAILY CHALLENGE A new seed every day with unique modifiers. One run, one shot — leaderboard resets at midnight.
