i know Spotify and Apple are starting to do similar things but this feels way more hands on and you can actually see the stems
You can play around with the stems experiment and create yourself, and i’ve weirdly learnt quite a lot about how songs are put together from using it. once you start hearing a song as vocals, drums, bass, melody etc you kind of can’t unhear it. i’ll listen to normal songs now and start thinking about what i’d isolate or change or create so the app makes music feel a lot less fixed which i love

Have waited many years for someone to make this a reality.
It really is a wonderful gift for those who not only love music, but those who enjoy mixing stems and experimenting with their favorite songs, as well as the bonus opportunity in discovering more buried within the music they love.
The idea of mixing stems is certainly not new, but StemFM and Stem2 paired together, in my opinion is how it should be.
In time, once all the initial kinks, bugs, etc. are worked out, I feel all the streaming services are going to copy this.
