Minimal; can’t feedback

On iPhone 8 at least, only offers ESV; and feedback button doesn’t work.

Wow 🤩

It’s my go to app to see how the English words chosen to translate a Greek word leaves out either double meanings, which I think Jesus cleverly used frequently, or just a translated word as we use it, does not properly convey the meaning.

It also in showing the Greek and often Hebrew forms of a word, lets you see how all the conjugation words that get added so that it reads, sometimes “takes away”.

If your desire is to know Jesus better… this tool will quickly become your friend.

Pretty good Scripture tool so far, but needs some work

I love the simplicity of this app in that I can just open it and start studying specific words right away, but The Scripture takes a little bit to load sometimes and stops scrolling. Also, the app always opens to Matthew 1 instead of where you left off in your study. I am requesting that the Legacy Standard Bible can also be added as a translation, as well as NASB95.

Proof of Concept?

This feels more like a tech demo than an app, especially by the high standards already set by STEP in the browser version. No option to download translations, what even is this?

Galatians problem

Galatians one only house to verse five

Simple, Yet Effective

I downloaded this app today and have to say that I like it. It is nice, simple and easy to use. The ESV translation is a good choice. Having cross-references and the Greek words/meanings are nice. Please don’t over-complicate this app by adding a ton of “features” to it. It’s good the way it is.

Great for studying the ESV bible.

I love everything about this app. It is great for eord studies. However, I noticed that 1 Corinthians chapter 1 doesn’t load after verse 3. I am using this on an iPhone.

A great Bible app

A wonderful resource and really helpful in understanding the scripture. Just one complaint. Where is the rest of Philemon?

Not many steps

App seems to be just another Bible with strong’s. Nice layout but kind of a dime a dozen. The website seems pretty awesome. I would like to see all features (or most) added to the app. This app would be a great in-depth study option if so. I use many different Bible apps for their individual functions or layout or ease of use. This currently doesn’t add anything that I need or desire, but I see potential…hopefully in the near future.

2 Corinthians 7 Bug?

2 Corinthians chapter 7 wont load beyond the first verse. Also wish I could use other translations in the app beside ESV.

Lazy

App just searches for the keyword. Nothing else. All results out of order. Every time you click a result the search is cleared so you gotta re-search and scroll to find the result. Don’t bother downloading

The website is way better

I downloaded the app expecting it to have all the features the website has (reading it in the Hebrew and Greek, commentaries, etc.) and it doesn’t. I prefer to use the web version on my phone, since it is fantastic! Lots of great resources for students of the biblical languages.

This is a great resource…

This is great resource. I love using it during sermons and personal study. However, it might just be me but on my device not all of 3 John comes up. Maybe there could be an update?

Incomplete Bible

This is a great app for the books that are included in full. I have not been able to open all of 2 John. Only the first two verses appear and the app freezes up. Perhaps they are working on fixing these issues? It would be a great app if it worked for all scripture.

Good but bugged

Love this app but when using in “offline” mode, it doesn’t always load all of the chapters/verses and there is know option to switch out of offline mode.

Upgrade to bible app?

Are you going to upgrade the Bible app to be used like the web version? The app is rather basic and not useful.

Please add more website features

This app is great and the website is even better! I’d love to have more of those commentary and language features in mobile platform soon, this alp has huge potential

Great little app

It would be nice if you can turn the page as you read. Instead you have to go out of the app to select the following chapter. It’s only available in the ESV. It’d be nice to see it in NKJV and NASB. For studying, esv isn’t my first choice. I love that it provides the Strongs concordance reference numbers.

Super handy!

Would like to see more features in the app like the website. The app is handy for looking up the Greek or Hebrew word on the fly but the website is better suited to actually searching the scriptures.

Adds SBL Greek New Testament

Such a great app, just needs the SBL Greek New Testament for researching.
