Step Journal and 3rd Party Sellout
I downloaded this with high expectations. From the outset it seemed okay until I tried to enter a new place opened a new page to sign up with Foursquare. Reading terms and conditions the user will allow 4sq access to all your private info and you must consent or step journal doesn’t work.
I tried to add several new places each time a new account was required in 4sq. Until a new account is created Step Journal is a waste and a front for mining personal data. I uninstalled it after a dozen attempts and dozen Create Account in 4sq. I’m not ready to surrender personal info voluntarily. Uninstalled the program. It’s invasive

I've had other journals but none that I like as much as this one. It's easy to use and does everything that I need. Thanks for creating this app!

This app is really nice and useful. I can simply create a journal with pictures to all those places. It's also easy to take a photo and share with my friends by many ways. Love it so much.

This is a very cool app. There isn't much to say since it's basically a digital journal. Although it does crash on my iPod Touch 5th Generation at times.

I've been using this app about an year, and it's getting better. Am recently using it actively as I like automatic place capturing and creating memories without consuming much phone battery. Hope my pictures are shown in bigger frame.

I was not a journaling fan, but this app is so convenient. When I open the app once in a while, app writes my memories my on behalf. It'd be great if I can set my favorite activity icons…

Much better than I’ve expected
Was not into diaries / journaling, and at first was sceptical about this app, but now, having used it for few months, I find great value in it. I can easily find when was the last time I went to a hairdresser, how many times I’ve exercised since I’ve joined a gym, when was my best friends wedding, etc. Sure, I could do all that in Calendar app, the problem, however is - am not using calendar much. And STEP Journal is much more fun than Calendar (how would you put pics on Calendar?)… Having connected Location services, Photos I don’t really have to do much to maintain my journal (sure, it gets place wrong occasionally, but who is perfect?). Hopefully soon the app will also add location info to my Facebook statuses. Sincerely recommended app!
