Doesn’t refresh step count

The alert has the old step count, I have to open the app to get it to refresh to the new step count otherwise it’s an awesome app. Should refresh periodically in the background without having to manually refresh it.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback, timb2021! Steps are updated periodically in the background, as long as the application is not closed. For reference, the date and time when the step count was last updated in the background is shown at the bottom of the alarm tab as “Latest update time.” If you continue to experience issues, please ensure that background app refresh is enabled in your device settings. If the problem persists, please contact us at strydesstudio@gmail.com for further assistance.
