False information

I’ve been using this app for many years, but really started paying attention to it in the last 2+ years. I have my daily step goal set at 8k per day. I usually reach that on a daily basis, often go over. Recently, during a conversation, a few people and I started talking about the amount of walking we do daily and when I mentioned my step goal was 8k, I was told that they walk closer to 14k-15k per day, in the same facility, same kind of role, except they report to me. The red flag is, I know I walk a lot more, move a lot more and do a lot more than the people under me, I am their β€œboss” and I set an example. So I purchased a belt clip step counter, and also purchased a wrist strap health tracker ( I won’t mention the name, I’m not a paid advertiser) and the iPhone steps app was insanely low. The belt clip steps app was way over double what the app counted and the wrist strap health tracker was around, or a little under half of what the app said. This can’t be a coincidence. I started to make sure I had my phone in my pocket for the last month to make sure it was β€œcounting” my steps. Still way low compared to the other counters and the other people who had different apps. Is there something I am missing or doing wrong, or something that should be calibrated?

Can’t help BUT review it

Got tired of wearing the Apple Watch, but this app keeps me accountable. Glance at it every day. Love it.

Getting back in shape

Love this app

Great app

Easy to use app.

Close to perfect (I know you might say why 2 stars)

So I think I downloaded this app for the same reason many people have.

They are dissatisfied by lack of widgets for the standard iPhone health app.

This does that great and actually has several of the widgets I wanted (daily steps, average day trendline comparisons, week comparison)

What I see it falls short is the widget refresh rate. As far as I can tell it does not refresh the widgets so you need to open the app to see them.

At that point why have the widgets? Thats why two stars. If the point of the app to a person is the widgets and the widgets don’t add functionality but only add the appearance of functionally I give two stars.

Flight

I walk up and down in my apartment in the stairwells, up and down 4 floors. SometimeS it tells me I have done zero flights or one flight. I’ve done a lot more than that. How come it doesn’t record it

I LIKE THIS APP BUT...

This app works great but there is no support when there's a problem. I live on the 2nd floor and use the stars several times a day but the app never shows my stair climbing activity. When you click on "Get Help" it pops back out to the activity screen. Hate this!

Partial upgrade

The system does not record or reflect Flights any longer. Is this by design ?

It’s cool but.

I like it I like the design but every time I log in a workout it stops counting the steps for the rest of the day and next day

Health journey

Love love love all the info I’m getting from this app. I’m competing against myself daily to do better that the day before and week before and this app helps me track everything.
