Absolutely amazing so far

Nerfed to hell and back

I understand that ads are needed to make payout apps like this free. Ads are a given, their presence is not what this review is about.

When I first downloaded this last year, the default limit each day was set at 5k, after which you needed to watch ads to increase the number of steps that counted towards each day. Each app increased the limit by 1k and the only thing that dictated how many times you could increase the limit was your own patience.

Recently, I reopened the app for the first time in a while only to find that the app has become basically unusable.

The current default limit is now ZERO STEPS. If the goal does not exist, how does it encourage people to move? The limit can still be increase, but unlike the 1k that you would get from each ad before, now the limit only increases by 500 steps. And unlike before when the upper bounds of the steps counted in the app only depended on your patience, the app now caps the steps at 5000 steps. The previous minimum is not this versions maximum.

Before, you could complete the 1 million steps if you remembered to open the app every day in 200 days with no ads. Now? You have to watch 10 ads to achieve this. If you choose not to watch the ads, it will take you 2000 days. What used to take ~1/3rd of the year will now require ~5.5 years to complete.

In summary, the updates have decreased the minimum, placed a cap and forced an increase in the ads you have to watch.

The user experience for has gone completely downhill. If you’re going to suddenly required 10 x the effort, maybe you should give 10 x the reward.

Sweet!

Paid to walk! That’s great!

Awesome app

This is one of the best apps. I just got another GC. So far I got over 10 GIFT CARDS from Million Steps. It takes time but it’s free. 😊 And ads are not as long like some other walk apps. To me it’s worth it and you don’t have to ask for it. It automatically has a pop up saying you reached your million steps. And 4 days or so later it’s in your email. This is one of the better walk apps I tried so far.

Love love love

I loved this app until I just walked 1 million steps and it only ave me $5 and it says you're supposed to get $10...this app's falling off!

VPN Not Allowed

I opened the app to get started and it requires me to turn off the VPN on my phone. I’m not comfortable doing that, so I deleted the app.

Million Steps Challenge

I just received another $10 Amazon gift card from Steps-they have a million steps challenge. My tips are log in every day and boost your steps, plus there are daily bonus steps as well. I have cashed out 6 times since joining ! I highly recommend this app . jennygirlx 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is Fantastic <3

It works great def worth trying out

Just downloaded

I just downloaded but it doesn’t have rewards for Canada yet? Please add Amazon gift cards for Canadians

Update: only has Amazon gift cards and you can walk 5000 steps and earn money but if you walk any over you have to watch a video to get each 1000 more counted which is unfair compaired to other apps I use
