Love it! Bingo is back!!

I love this app. It’s a fun way to motivate yourself and others via challenges that aren’t just about your step count and customized based on your activity so it feels even more challenging for everyone. I understand the subscription is an issue for some but it’s well worth it, especially considering Fitbit also had bingo behind a paywall eventually. I volunteered to get a plus membership and just invite my friends who can use the free version! Be real, you spend $20 in the blink of an eye most days. Why not invest it in a fun healthy challenge?!

Can’t get past second screen

EDIT: The developer responded asking for a screenshot and I’m now able to use the app!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I see a screen that says “We know we just met, so this is awkward…” with a bunch of text and no options to move forward. I’ve restarted the app several times and am using the smallest text size but no luck. I had high hopes for this app. Sad day.

Cost

Having to pay for features is one thing, but having to pay for the only thing they advertise in ads is kind of messed up. Feels like trickery to get downloads.

Thanks for taking the time to share this feedback! We’re sorry it felt misleading. To clarify, StepSmash has a free version, and anyone can play Smash Bingo for free with an invite. Most of our players participate this way. StepSmash+ is only required to create and host a Smash Bingo game. We’ll review the specific ad you saw and make any necessary adjustments to help ensure that distinction is clear. If you are willing, please reach out on our community forums and feel free to DM me directly. You can DM the same account that posts all StepSmash announcements on the forums. Any details about the ad you saw help a ton (headline, video, images, or text you remember). We’ll track down the exact assets, adjust them as needed, and make it right for you.

Great app. In active development with new features rolling out regularly in response to community requests and feedback. Motivates me to get my steps in and be consistent! Highly recommend!

Step Bingo is a Blast!

Step counting was boring until STEP-SMASH! This developer has done a great job to bring it back in a fun exciting way! What are you waiting for? Invite your friends and kick off some friendly competition. I think the cost is very fair considering we paid $$$$ for the old game- 1.99/mo is a bargain 😀Thanks again you made a fan for life!

You need to pay a subscription for the only feature people wanted to begin with.
