Can be fun, but more or less mid

Let’s address the elephant in the room. This game is clearly a janky ripoff of Stick War: Legacy. Not only did it copy assets, though, it also doesn’t feel all around well-made, throwing in ads where there arguably shouldn’t be. However, despite that, this game can actually be kind of fun.

I’m going to start with the pros; first off, again, it can be pretty fun. The 250 max population cap is actually nice for when you need more units, like in Endless Deads. Plus, almost instantaneous build time on most units adds a little speedrun-y feel to battles and lets me finish them really quickly, which I like. The weird addition of Zamasu, Perfect Cell, and Goku was… unusual, to say the least, but also nice. Along with that, the Survival and Sandbox gamemodes are cool.

For the cons, first off, a *bit* too much ads. Not overwhelming, but to the point where it irks me, with every battle I win bringing me an ad. This isn’t something that is an actual problem per se, but it’s just kind of a tiny grievance. Secondly, and this is a BIG problem I have, is no user control. I strongly feel like, if there was user control implemented, it would fix not only my own, but many other people’s problems about this game. Thirdly, this game feels a lot janky in a ton of ways; doesn’t feel totally well-made and kind of feels rushed or something. All the backgrounds in the battles are generic, and the statues feel way too “shiny” and “plastic-y” that doesn’t reflect some good stone textures that games like Stick War: Legacy have. Fourthly, a ton of things are obviously AI generated, like the tournament avatars (both your own and your opponents’), some of the backgrounds, and even probably the gamemode title cards.

All in all, this game is pretty fun to me, but it does have some problems that can easily be THOUSANDS of times better with some updates, redesigns, and just raw, talent-filled effort from the devs, instead of just letting AI or copying assets do all the work.
