Gute Idee, schlechte Umsetzung

Eigentlich eine sehr starke Idee, aber die App ist noch sehr unausgereift.

Und dafür, dass ich meinen Account nicht über die Einstellungen löschen kann, gibt es eine schlechte Bewertung. Sowas geht gar nicht.

Super Glitchy App

Such a cool concept, but the app functionality is super glitchy and terrible. You can barely set up an account and create a goal. Multiple steps stall out and don’t work. It’s such a bummer because there’s no one else who will let you add financial consequences, which helps so much with motivation! Forfeit is a way better functioning app, but they don’t let you actually *forfeit* anything if you don’t meet your goals. : /

Good idea, but few options where money goes to

They removed the ‚friend/foe‘ option, where the money would go to a friend’s paypal, that’s very unfortunate in my opinion. You can also not choose a charity yourself, which just doesn’t sit right with me, especially because with the anti-charities you can choose individual ones. I don’t get it.

Bad app, worse customer service

avoid this app. it’s an unbelievably glitchy platform. and their site is frequently down, leaving you unable to submit your reports (but they will still take your money). their customer service is nonexistent, they don’t answer calls and their reports through the app just say “we’ll be in touch” without ever following up. don’t trust them with your money

Glitchy app fails to send notifications

First of all, the methodologies that stickK uses are phenomenal for building new habits. My complaint isn’t with their system, but with this application. Despite having notifications “on” in the app, and on the settings in my phone, it fails to send me a reminder notifications to report. This is led to multiple failed reporting periods and thus donations to my anti- charity. This is pretty frustrating since I am keeping up the habit that I Set out to accomplish.

works great

I haven't had any issues at all and I love the app

Slow

Hoping this improves.

No customer service

I’m really disappointed with my experience (or lack thereof) with their customer service team. I’ve been mistakenly charged $$$ and haven’t been able to contact their customer service team. They don’t answer anything. Don’t risk your money with them!

Bring back the option to add friends as stake recipient

This was recommended everywhere because of the ability to add friends as the recipient of a stake which was a major differentiator but you now removed it making the app way less useful. This is now the same as other apps like forfeit.

Great!

Great customer service, the app works great as well!

Absolute Mess

The UI in some parts of this app are just bad. It feels like I’m scrolling through a tabloid website.

They also force you to make an account including demanding an email and your birth year. Its weird and extremely unnecessary for those not interested in the “social” aspects. I’ve also seen other apps do similar things in that regard without needing you to make an account. So, I’m inclined to believe this is a data harvesting technique.

Then, if you try to make a “commitment” that isn't one of the three basic ones available then you have to go to an external web browser to finish the process. I’ve never seen anything like this and it was an immediate deal breaker. It’s ether pure laziness or sheer incompetence to not be able to do everything necessary in-app.

Hard pass on this one

Where has the charity you like option gone?!

I have found this app useful in the past however I logged on just now to set another goal and the option to loose your money to a charity has gone, now only an anti charity which I don’t find motivating at all. It’s just kind of depressing and not a positive experience for me personally. I had to choose an anti charity I support but I hate the fact it is labelled as my anti charity! Please fix this issue!

this app is too bloated

half of what is going on i simply do not care about, i also have zero interest in putting money on the line (even if it was with my friends) so stop ramming it down my throat

Horrible customer service

Fraudulently charged me because the entire service was down during my reporting period. Absolute joke of a company. No customer service response

DO NOT USE- CAUTION

This app will not allow me to report or reset my password. It worked for two weeks and was awesome. Then, all of a sudden, I couldn't login. I had to disable my credit card right away otherwise the app would charge me.

Non existent customer service

I’ve been trying to reach them for days by the phone number and email provided but no reply. My password will not work due to a data leak and the app won’t let me reset it. I’m still being “charged” for not reporting on time even though I’ve been trying.
Disappointed 🙁

I give major credit to StickK!

I have been using StickK every week, without fail, for over a dozen years. I credit it for boosting my incentive to reduce weight, be more disciplined about exercise, keep more focused and reduce procrastination.

A BIG side benefit from StickK comes when I faithfully record my weekly progress data. Simply measuring and entering data has given me the peace of mind that I am overall “moving in the right direction” - regardless of the many ups and downs that may occur from day to day.

As a retired psychologist, I think StickK is a brilliantly designed method for leveraging a person’s built-in motivation to obtain progress toward long-term goals, especially those goals that require steady discipline to create effective new habits.

This app is a scam

They don’t tell you they will take $5 for every pledge you make, then when you complain they say they will refund but then don’t. I recommend using Forfeit instead

Trying to get my money out

I’m either going to get my money out that I tried to transfer to PayPal or I am going to file a lawsuits and request Apple remove this scam from the store.

DO NOT USE

Was hoping to break a bad habit but ended up stuck in a horrible system where I lost $5 every time I didn’t log in and report that I didn’t do the bad habit, even though the app has no idea whether I’m lying or not. Unhelpful and will likely cost me money. Do not use this app.
