At 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years, we resurface each post with one question: do you still hold this? You respond with one of three states: Still — you stand by it. Evolved — your view has developed. Explain how. Recanted — you've changed your mind. Own it. Every reckoning becomes a timestamped entry attached to the original post, forming a visible chain of how your thinking has changed over time. Your profile isn't a feed — it's a living intellectual autobiography. WHY STILLHOLD EXISTS The internet has infinite memory but zero accountability. Old takes exist but are buried, and everyone tacitly agrees not to dig them up. StillHold makes the buried layer the main layer. Changing your mind is admirable.
