Genre based on artist
I love the artist from Spain: Rosalia ❤️ When I perform a Stingray search entering her name, the feedback music received doesn’t quite match her style. Now mind you her style is so unique I can understand how that can be a challenge. But if the music found doesn’t really match hers, I would like instead to just get feedback music mostly interpreted by Rosalia herself instead.
On the other hand, I also love Bossa Nova and Brazilian funk/electronica/trap, and for both of those genres Stingray gives me several channels with a robust variety of music I really enjoy.
I also want to commend Stingray for their effort to provide continuous music with minimal commercials interruptions, and ensuring the commmercials presented are classy/innovative/useful and short. Thank you for the opportunity and user-friendly space to provide a review. Go Stingray!! 😁🫵🏽💃🏽

Cluttered with sketchy advertisements; it was once excellent, but that's no longer the case.
Best streaming
I learned about Stingray on my Samsung SmartTv. Since then I carry it with me everywhere on my cellular. Excellent sound quality and program. Highly recommended.

This app comes from the biggest radio conglomerate in Canada and the app design reeks of it.
While listening to radio, lack of control over the curated music playlist one listens to is understandable. But, not having that control on an app is frankly a not-so-sensible decision from this brand.
I would like to create my own playlist of songs from artists that I enjoy and not have to listen to some weirdly curated playlist where some songs from artists are frankly meh.
Yes, the plans are cheaper than other music provider apps, but if I cannot listen to my favourite albums from an artist, then I would rather pay a pretty penny for that choice.
A huge missed opportunity at capitalizing the market by the brand with their poor decision to enforce playlist focused listening on the app and pushing listeners to hear songs from artists that they may not enjoy (despite the overwhelmingly positive ratings from 37k reviews).

I can my Apple Music subscription since I discovered this music app sound really amazing listening to music in my car or ear pods the only thing I don’t like is I can’t repeat songs or back track or than that is perfect
